Coming along nicely BG. Very glad to see ya bringing these to the growers. I was gifted some viet dalat seeds a few years back. I tried them one year, but they didnt want to finish for me. I will have to make them a space indoors sometime. I did have an oldtimers haze hit one of the dalat girls with pollen, but wont be growing these for a while. Anxious to see the progress on these. Props brother

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing them and the info. As for my plants. I've got them in the pollen room now. Please, don't ask me when they will be ready. I just got them in there and it will take some time to flower them out. I don't want to be hounded about them. They are in there now and should start showing sex in about a week. I don't know how long they will all take. Since i'm flowering everything out all at once and doing a open pollination. This will give a better gene pool for grower's to select from.

Thanks about it. I'm tired and going to relax.
Take care,
BG

Hey Monkey5, nice to see you buddy. I'll try and get some pictures once they start dropping pollen and filling in, but don't hold me to it. I've been mega busy with all types of stuff. Government has me doing stuff with the VA. All the stuff that happen while in the Army. They are going over all my injuries and re checking my treatments, so with that and work and all the plants. I'm pretty busy, but I'll try and get some.
Take care,
BG

Life tends to get pretty damn busy hey BG?

It sure does. If everyone knew what I do most of the time. They would be surprised at how I get it all done. This up coming year is going to be allot less work and stress.

All my close friends know how busy I stay. I'm up every morning at 6am and to bed about 11. That shit is about to change.
Take care,
BG

If I listed everything I might do in a days work. Most members wouldn't believe me. lol I do allot in a days work. Up almost every morning at 6. Do my rounds and check plants. Mix a bunch of 5 gallon pails and prep water. Go over my list of the day and then head out to work.

Plus, dealing with VA and any doctors appointments. Lots to do, but I'm about to reduce my work load soon. Not a problem about servicing. I enjoyed my time in the Army. Thanks for the support and take care.
Later,
BG

Looking forward to the Viet x Viet and/or
Viet hybrids, BG! VB is the strongest shit I've ever had and last time was in the '70's.

Thanks, they should be some special crosses. I'm looking forward to growing them outdoors next season. I will say this and will be pack each of the Vietnam Black pures with a warning card. These are very hard to grow indoors and even outdoors. Unless you live in a area that has a long and warm winter. Your going to need a greenhouse to finish these, but I will explain that before I put them us.
Take care,

Yeah, I figured they'd be next to impossible to grow indoors. I was thinking more for breeding stock. 1/4 to 1/2 VB should be plenty to add lots of potency and energy to anything it's crossed with. Do you know yet what hybrids you'll be creating? I figure cross it with a good quick & compact Indica (Northern Lights? Afghani? Mighty Mite?)- or maybe cross it with something like Durban or Burmese, then cross THAT with a good Indica.

Morning everyone,

sorry, I haven't updated in a while. Here are a couple of pictures. I know, the HPS are on. I've been to busy and keep forgetting to take pictures at lights out. I'll try and get some today or tomorrow. The Lone Freak I should answer you questions here. If not, just ask me again and I'll get to it. Lot's to reply to and pm's, so if I miss it. Just ask me again.
Thanks

Well, the VB's are getting tall. In one of the pictures. You will see one passed the lights. I'm about to move the table out and put the lights back on chains and drop them some. It's been crazy like always, but I'm plugging through it. I'm not going to put a date on it, but I'm guessing end of Dec or beginning of Jan. I want to make sure the seeds get the most amount of time maturing. Things are looking good. I had plenty of males and pollen was every where. Spent a good amount of time cleaning the room. Just to help reduce the amount of time cleaning once this run is over.

Looks like mostly everything took to the pollen well. I don't know how many seeds I'm going to have. So, took better then others, but it's still to early to say. Some are fast then the others, but there is allot of pods formed and forming.

As for the hybrids. I've got these in there and they got dusted by the VB males.

NL#5
Casey Jones (Joe's cut)
e-32
Purple Urkel

I'm really stoked about these. Not, because I'm going to be selling seeds of them. I think these all have a good source to mix and match with the genes. The NL#5 should bring down flower time and beef the VB genes up.

The Casey should beef up the VB also and help bring down the flower time some also, but the Casey Jones is a 72 day flower plant also. I think these two will yield monsters outdoors.

The e-32 is one I'm going to be watching closely. I don't know what these two are going to do, but I'm thinking it's going to be some dangerous smoke. Both with there high power highs. I think this one is going to be a little hard to grow. With the e-32 being all like a vine. Can't wait to see the pheno's in this one.

The Purple Urkle should be a nice cross. Adding some color alone with some taste. I'll be messing with this one as well. I think there are going to be some pretty plants in this one. Color with nice resin.

Well, that's about it. I've got allot of replies to reply to. If I missed something. Just ask and I will get back to it. I'll try and get some better pictures later.
Take care,
BG

WOW,those sure are stretching! Looking good though. You're going to have some nice crosses for sure. Things are crazy here with harvesting the early ones and collecting the seeds. Made a couple crosses as well. Soma Lavender x VB, and an Erdpurt x VB. Had two VB's that didn't take the pollen. Going to reveg it and try again. I saved some of the good pollen(hope it's good) and will try again next season. Maybe I'll search through some Blackberry an find a couple nice purple males to dust it too.

Wow! Those are some TALL beasties. Definitely want to cross with something more compact. Been wanting to try some breeding myself (can't spread the seeds, though - I live in TX.) Only cross I've done in the past was Northern Lights x(Mighty Mite x Dutch Treat). It was really good and easy to grow, but I'm looking to create something much more energetic in the future. Maybe some VB or Burmese or Durban in the mix (maybe even Haze). I dunno - it's all in the 'idea' phase at this point. Maybe I'll have some bucks available when the VB comes out. Hope so! Thanks for the pics and info, BG!

Thanks, they look ok but they could look allot better. They should be grown outdoors in the grown and under the sun. These are not meant to be grown indoors and under lights. I had to keep them in small containers. Just so I could root bind them and control height. Thanks for the kind words.
BG

daaam that one is just towering over shit! nice pix bg that e-32 x vb sounds crazy bro!

Ya, that is VB#10. It's a big one for sure. That girl would do very well outdoors and push very tall. The e-32 x VB should be some funky smoke. :)

Ya, just think if they where in larger containers. WOW! Ya, the new crosses should be fun for sure. Good luck with the harvesting and seeds. Sorry, to hear about the pollen. Hopefully the second round will do better. I'll hit you up later on. Good luck and let me know if you need any help.

Ya, they are a little big. That's what VB and Thai's do. They get big and tall. Sounds like you got some own plans of your own. Good luck with them and I hope they work out for you. The Asians do help some weak cannabis. It sucks when you got something that looks, tastes and yields nice, but has no kick. Asian strains can help out with that. Thanks for stopping by.
Take care,
BG
