I have experienced much better growth with my humidity at about 70%. The room has a normal RH of about 35% which is very dry and therefore the plants would always struggle due to increased transpiration. When I raised the humidity the plants flourished. In my experienced RH does not cause PM, but may promote grey mould in the later stages of flowering. I inspect the plants religiously for any signs of PM and regularly use sulfer and fungicides such as Physan 20 during the vegatative phase. I reduce my humidity later in flowering to about 55-60% just to be safe.

Besides practice, there is a wealth of knowledge from a book written by RC Clark called "Hemp Diseases and Pests- Management and Biological Control." It's a pretty expensive book, but it's indispensable especially for professional or fanatical growers. I feel confident to write that it's one of the most informative books ever written about cannabis.

Hey Doc,
Up until last week I've only used tap H2O. I then started using BudCandy adn will use it mixed with the water until week six of flower then I'll again return to straight H2O for a flush. Subcool's soil is super easy once you have mixed everything.

I am really thinking I should try the super soil for my next round. I am growing Sub's Querkle now in my first grow. Its my first grow but i have been reading about super soils since I purchased my first set of beans from Soma seeds. Soma who also wrote the first growing book I purchased swears by super soil mixes. Sadly those were dead beans or I messed up. My Querkle's however had a 100% Germination rate but were way heavy on the boys not uncommon with TGA gear I have read. Is Bud Candy an organic or is there an Organic version your aware of?
