Thanks for the porps....that Blackberry devastated my entire garden

and yes there are some people that kept seeds from that mishap....I bet there is some beasts in there....there is a Blue Master Kush that got hit by that too....I bet that will be a punisher...a lot of good genetics and the Blackberry that got ahold of everything was a great strain in itself....big producer with a forehead smacking high.

The real props goes out to our friend Koot....he puts great genetics in the hands of experienced growers.

Absolutely KooteniaNaturals Has the hook up when it comes to seeds and cuts. I know personally that they really know their shit when it comes to knowing about the strains. The research that is done is ridiculous .They have hooked us up with some of the best fire I've seen in along time!!!The genetics are usually brand new and always, always Top notch . Two of the newest strains being tested by us are Detroit Double Sour D & Cheddar Wurst . Sour D is turning out to be a beast. Both of the seeds are out performing everything in my entire stable! They are in week 6 right now and will be done soon!Thank you Kootenai Naturals!!! The Cheddar wurst is one that we've started about a week ago and is in veg but so far very promising we will be seeing her hit the big screens in about 16 weeks.Another rarely seen in these parts and now will be!!Thanks to Kootenia Naturals! They have donated quite a few strains to us to start and to grow and I have never been disappointed and don't expect to be any time soon. That same plant that ravaged your room is the one that created Zoo's candy the mixes that I made on PURPOSE were from that same plant X18,Erkel,AFGoo,SSH,STRBDWG,Train Wreck, they were are all mixed seeded harvested and are all growing right now as well, they are in week 2 of veg these are NOT going to be used for future breeding projects. They are all in part to get a better mendo cross to keep in MY stables.Like I said before "YOU DON'T KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY".Hope fully the mixes come out half way stable. I know the ZOO'S Candy was beaten to a pulp on 1 of each of the clones and I even tried to get it too close to heat it up, under feed it,over feed it, messed with the lighting cycles, bent it,burned it with the light and nothing!!! It was completely stable so" no guts no glory"!All of this would not have been possible with out the assistance of good friends and homies like the PePs at Kootenai Naturals.

Yes...some are simple crosses...but what do you mean what makes it a strain? Simple things you might wanna ask yourself though before it will take off is the origin of the genetics...are they verifiable?

The pollinating is the easy part.....then there is the testing of the seeds....pheno hunting....and deciding on whether or not it is a strain worthy of working over more. You could back cross chasing certain traits or whatever you decide. Just because you make a strain does not mean it will make it in the main stream world.

I guess I consider a strain to be true breeding and a cross to be a cross.

As far as genetics, I grow from seed and always request sealed packs from the breeder if I have to go through a bank. I have ended up with some great plants from accidental pollination leading to interesting crosses, but I am not in a position to start an actual selective breeding program that requires large plant populations and multiple generations to get traits locked in. I'm just not there yet.

But the breeding rooms are being built in the new greenhouse/grow house.

Good luck to all of you and your projects.

I am really stoked I came across this forum with fellow montana connoisseurs like my self. SILVERTIP I would have to say is my favorite strain to grow and smoke next to the famous S.A.GE. which I have not seen to much of at all up in montana, but I do PLAN on bringing to light a unique colorado blend of S.A.G.E to the location.

Montana has some of the best smoke I have ever tried, And the climate up here along with the water is a miracle. Let the breeding and the fun of genetics and this wonderful plant begin. I was in Three Rivers a week or two ago, and I would have to say yes, next to my personal and one others I have seen, they have some of the best really really fine smoke in the location, and I plan on coming in and re arranging another meeting to possibly get signed on board with the fun.

I just got done pollinating a silvertip with a very stinky bubblegum male, I am stoked to see what happens, and if it doesn't take, I have pollen to try again. I am very thankful for the progress and the beauty of the montana scene, I believe it is very important to give many many thanks and respect to the medical industry up here, to keep it alive, and legit, so all us connoisseurs and breeders can keep enjoying the symbiosis with such an incredible plant.

I agree.

Welcome to the forums fractalluvbuds.

You guys must not stray too far from home. With the exception of utah, montana has the worst ganj of any western state. Most is barely "medicine". This place is a freaking joke. I guess if you dont know any better its the shiznit...lmao.

Are you kidding? Where at in Montana are you? Our state is flooded with the best medicine in the world, with maybe the exception of Cali and CO. I am not sure that it can get any cheaper, there are so many awesome growers here too, if you have a medical card you should have no problem getting fire, unless you are in the eastern part of the state, that might be a little different. IF you have your card I extend you an invitation to my store, I don't think you will leave disappointed.

Way to talk smack when you probably have not met any of us....or seen our product.

I am sure if you have a card and you can't find some fire then it might be because of your attitude....or the people you are dealing with

Bring yo card man....I will show you some samples....sure we would all show samples....but don't categorize everyone the same.....I have had the privilage to meet some of the growers in this forum, they are great growers with excellent product. The ones on the forum just have the balls to step out in the public, they do not represent the entire growing community of Montana.

Have you tried any of the meds from the people on the forum? If not please take your statements somewhere else....because you are bashing people without trying their meds....Why don't you bash the people you bought from?... seems like a better use of your opinion

Dude please we don't have to PM!! WERE LICENSED!! You can come down to my store anytime is Luck Dragon Medicinal Providers,LLC.I'll be more than happy to shove a SSH bud the size of your head (10Inches round) in your mouth to shut it up along with all the other 20 or so strains we grow. My pic's,prices, taste and customers speak for themselves look it up homie were on the web just like everyone else here. At least I can say I have Lived at all four corners of the United States and have been doin this since I was 15 and its been 15 years and I know your FULL OF SHIT!! Montana has had the KIND BUDs here since the early 90's some of the best next to Cali. and Co. I got famly in washington, newyork, florida,Cali, texas,Indiana, utah, georgia south dakota and I KNOW YOUR FULL OF SHIT!!They are all trying to move out here because our stuff is like crack compared to their meds. The only reason Cali. and Co. are right with us or a bit ahead of us is because they are way more ahead of us in development, research (as far as being able to bring in new strains and breeding programs commercially). Not GROWING IN A GROW ROOM!! I am not saying Im the best because Im NOT! There is always gonna be bigger and better ways of doing things no matter what grower you are and how long you have been doin it. But I'll be more than happy to put your words to shame!

Silvertip Strain availability?

Hello, I am looking for the Mt strain "silver tip". I would purchase or trade for a clone. Can anyone help me out?

Yes I am a caregiver and my 2 cents: there are a concentrated number of
very good / excellent growers in the Missoula area. Not true state wide...I've seen some real crap / mediocre product from other areas of the state.

Anyway, if you can help or are interested in a trade please contact me.

Thank you,

j

That P.C.T. looks very nice. Its crazy but i am so allergic to that strain that I had to give it up! I seriously break out in hives when I touch her in veg and I puff and swell up when she is getting trimmed, real gnarly. Hope all is well fellow Mt farmers, one hell of a roller coaster that we are on! Got some old school Blueberry and Tahoe crossed with old blue that I will be flowering next week, more strains and photos to come!

This is the most amazing thread i have ever seen. Im from Billings and i can assure you that the weed we get here is chronic... but not as dank as that Bozo and Missoula bud... but damn good nonetheless.

I have not seen this many Montana growers/patients in one forum ever... glad i finally found the right one. I am looking to become a patient at The Healing Center (all my family/friends go there) asap... im just not sure how the new 2 doctors signatures works for chronic pain (i broke my left shoulder when i was 12 snowboarding, had to have surgery on it twice... once to put the pins in and once to take them out, still have pains in it every now and then from working it too much or bending it in a weird way... and i tend to sleep on my left shoulder often as well)

Here's some Billings silvertip

And now some Bozeman silvertip

Silvertip is an amazing strain... but i think we get it so much here that it doesn't get us high anymore! I swear... this bozo silvertip is the best i have ever had... growers in Billings need to learn from these guys. You would think Billings would have some of the dankest since it's got the most people...:mad0233:

The silvertip looks good, just tell the Billings boys to let it go to 60-65 days, she will turn entirely purple and be some face melting stuff.

I have tried that Abusive, the same from Mountain Myers. It was strong, but by no means a favorite of mine, especially considering some of their other strains that they rock, but nevertheless very strong!

haha ill let them know next time they grow it... are you from Bozeman? Do you know how simple it is to get 2 doctors to sign off? I just dont want to go through a hassle just to get a card that says i can smoke/possess weed legally... i hate running the risk of not having a card in a medical state... :character0095:

Any help would be nice... and are you by chance a caregiver haha? I would definitely sign up with someone from bozeman as long as i knew i could get it when i needed. Delivery or pick up is fine... i love roads trips. :pimp:
