TY, its been a lot of work, but it is coming out just how I planned. I am still crossing my fingers for the whole thing being done by the end of next weekend, but I think that may be a stretch. Stay tuned for the show to get really good, the equipment setup, and veg marathon are both about to go down in the next few weeks.

Here is the progress so far (or should I said, 'Still To Do List'). 1 more trip to the hydro store should cover 98% of what I need for the room, equipment wise. Some bracket mounting should allow me to hang most of the equipment from the ceiling where I want it once everything is done being painted. The 2 larger flowering tables pictured previously are primed but need a finish coat, and the same can be said for the outside of the veg closet. The RO system is still sitting hooked up but on the floor rather than mounted on the wall, gotta get that up. Then its a matter of getting my ducting system set up for my raptor hoods and exhaust system, and getting my t-ring dripper irrigation lines set up from the reservoir to the right spots on the trays and also set up the drains in all the trays. Like I said, I am hoping to do all this by the end of the weekend but I think the irrigation and ducting may not get finished.

For now, I have some picture updates of a few things: :movie

The window ducting connections in place so far. Explained in my last post. With the addition of the vent cover, and a few 90 degree angles and an 8" to 6" converter. All this may look awkward but will make more sense when everything is hooked up. Remember, the majority of the time, I will be running a completely sealed room.

Here is how the Veg Closet looked right before I moved the plants in tonight, including the exhaust fan mounted on the exterior:
IMG_6149.jpg
IMG_61501.jpg

Debating moving the carbon filter part of the exhaust down lower on the wall or maybe to the other side on the right of the cabinet. right now it's right next to the intake from the hood so it seems kinda pointless.

And finally, here is a picture update of the girls during transplant:

The real grow log is about to get started, Construction is done, and now its approaching cruise control time. Back to what I love most, the growing.

hooterdooters may have been quoted by me at least a few times since i read this post. haha. yes as I said earlier, I have a very trusting investor who has laid out all the cash for this project and put a very reasonable timeframe on being paid back. Should be absolutely no problem to make all this back by the end of the academic year or hopefully sooner. thanks for checkin out the log!

Almost there. Bet it feels amazing.

Plants are looking beyond amazing.

Peace,
S i R

Haha, feels amazing, but also feels like i have slowed down to a crawl now that I'm busy with school. I get about 1/4 as much work done as I was over summer. The plants love their new home, I took some pics a day after they moved in but will upload some once they have been in there for a week or so just to have a more dramatic change visible. I dropped the t5 fixture onto a couple of them 2 days ago, they were bent over for a few hours but have perked right back up no problem, now just a few leaves have some crispy brown scars. Haha putting these bad ass Raskal girls to the ultimate test before they flower. Can you survive the sun falling on your head? these ladies can!

lookin' good man. i'm posted up.

Great to have you here delae, your genetics stable has me drooling, hopefully one day I can have something as diverse and impressive as you.

Damn! Great job on building that garage, def a bit jealous.

Can't wait for the show to start.

Show starts soon! thank you, I put a lot of work into the design and build out of this project and it is really starting to show a finished product that makes me feel like it was all worth it. Glad to see that my log has inspired your second post ever on this forum. Makes me feel special.

Ok, Here is the no picture update for the time being, hopefully i will get enough done today that i feel like putting up pictures, otherwise be looking for them over the weekend.

The girls are in the veg cabinet, and loving it. their growth rate has more than doubled since the transplant. the a/c cools the heat from the cabinet like it was nothing. i actually get cold going into the garage if I leave the A/C going to late into the cooler nighttime. Plant temps are at a content 74-78 in the day and 68-71 at night. with humidity ranging between 40-45 in the day and 45-53 at night. want to control that a bit more at night but not sure i can. would prefer night temps of more like 65 and humdiity to be constant 45 all the time. nothin's perfect tho.

The equipment has all arrived at the hydro store and will be picked up later today hopefully. The drainage for the trays is about half way setup/figured out. Still not functioning (hasn't been put to the test) but hopefully by the end of the weekend a lot of little things like this will be finished. Today I will finish paint the tables and get the RO system mounted to the wall. We will see what else I find time for.

The big news for today is the arrival of my newest genetics! A big thank you to AEC, for keeping Raskal beans on hold for me for the better part of a week and then shipping them to me within 48hours of getting my cash. Hope to see the next drop through the farm, but incase Raskal and Logic don't work things out, this place is legit and makes it cheaper and faster for me based on my proximity to them. Spoke with over 4 dif employees during this transaction and all were very helpful even when they had no idea who I was or what I was talking about, they simply passed me onto the manager on shift and I got polite and helpful answers.

IMG_61701.jpg

The White Urkle will be popped in a week or so. Does anyone know the run time of this cross? has it been run before even? If not what are the run times for Raskal's purple urkle and the white? I will assume somewhere in the average of the 2.

IMG_6171.jpg

The White Masters will be popped around 6 weeks from now. Got 12 beans in that pack which is 1 more than I was expecting!

thanks bro, I love working with coco. I am actually trying out soil right now but i'm experimenting with other plants, some red nasturtium and some blue pansy. I think it will add some nice color to the garden and also give me a chance to work with soil without having more valued plants on the line.

Almost at that point. But like I said before, I love growing, as I am sure you do, so I don't mind being at a stand still, as long as I have happy plants to watch all day. Should have even more new beans soon, some White Skunks are on their way.

So as promised :whew(kinda, being that it is technically monday so its not really the weekend anymore), here is an update of the girls and the grow room at the moment.

Got a decent amount done, not everything yet, but enough to post up some pics that I'm not embarrassed by. The garage has been kind of a mess for the last week with piles of equipments and painting supplies balanced randomly and then random tools and lots of wood in the way too. But I did some consolidating and setting up the majority of the equipment helped get a lot of the boxes out of the way. And a few trash bags later I took a few pictures.

I dunno where the 3...2...1... animation went but you all can imagine it here.

Please excuse the loose wires and tubing, just wanted to get things turned on for a test run, not done yet.

You can see the scars from when i dropped the light on the girls last week if you look at some of the close ups. Also a minor bit of Ca deficiency, should be gone soon, I will have to up my CalMag dosing from 2ml to 3 or 4ml per gal.

Dunno why one of the pics uploaded sideways. . . took me 4 tries to even get them uploaded, damn server wasn't being nice tonight :fighting0085: W/e turn your heads or your computer if you have a laptop

Gonna top them soon, and they should be under the MH soon. They are getting big fast now. Gave them a magic green foliar feeding tonight right after the lights went out. they should be looking perfect and ready to have their heads chopped off in a few days.

:hi Wow reading this and seeing that the last time I posted the girls were under the T5 is almost laughable. I apologize for not keeping the farm more up to the minute with the vegging of my WiFi girls. The Nasturtium are an annual vine but I have yet to provide a support for them to climb so they are just kinda falling over on themselves. 2 out of the 6 are still being taken care of, the other 4 were not happy for unknown reasons with the exact same environment, media, and feeding. The Pansy are also an herbaceous annual that will most likely be able to live their whole lives in the cup of soil if I don't transplant them into a more attractive display pot down the line. I have to do research when I have time as to whether they will flower based on their development stage or a lighting cue.

super clean

Clean, dirty, clean, dirty, extra dirty, kinda clean. . . this is the current trend in my grow room. I'm not happy with it to say the least. This weekend will be a lot of final touches like Co2 installed, emergency/post-sulfur burn exhaust system, 50 Gal RO reservoir strapped to the wall, Float valve mounted, and other set up that will turn up as things get close to finished. After that I plan to keep it immaculate for the remainder of its use.

Now, I think after 3 weeks of silence :lipssealed , it is time for an update.

The Wifi seedlings numbers #1, #2, #3, and #5 (numbers assigned for organization purposes only, these do not refer to known pheno types such as WiFi #1 or #3, from here out they will be referred to as A, B, C, and D) are no longer seedlings. They were entering full on veg in my last update, and of course time did not stop since then, and neither did their growth. Besides a quick nutrient lockout/calcium deficiency situation (that was fixed easily with a full flush and starting over with a well pH balanced feeding on the next watering) the plants have been healthy. They were vegged under a 400w MH bulb starting just a few days after my last update when they were too tall to sit below the T5 anymore.

I tied them down almost side ways and then retied them down again after lower branches started taking the lead. Once enough branching was developed on the lower part of the plant that was coming out at the right angle/spot that I wanted, I chopped off the heads of all 4 plants. Full on topping the plant to stop anymore growth in that direction. I removed any branches i didn't think were located well, and created some clones of each phenotype, so that I can keep a mother of my favorite. The plant started beefing up the other remaining branches like crazy.
IMG_6236.jpg
IMG_6267.jpg
IMG_6298.jpg
IMG_6313.jpg
IMG_6353.jpg

My feeding regiment throughout this time was the following:
CALiMAGic 4-6 ml per gallon as the plants got larger
Silica Blast 3-4 ml per gallon as the plants got bigger
House & Garden A + B -- nutrient calculator rate based on veg week
Drip Clean 0.4 ml per gallon
Roots Excel 1.1 ml per gallon
Algen Extract 1 ml per gallon

And I have been feeding generally 3/4-1 gallon per 2 gallon root pot about every 3-5 days. Based on the weight of the pot for how dry and when to water.

They got a dose of Great White added to that on their last watering yesterday, as the watering was during the transplant process. Transplant was a success, very minor damage caused to some roots at the bottom of the root ball because they had grown into the fibers of the root pots. This morning they were perked up and happy to be under 1000w of high quality dual-arc lighting. :icon_animal26:
IMG_6363.jpg
IMG_6393.jpg
IMG_6398.jpg

Now they are in 7 gallons of pure coco. I think next time I will put a layer of clay pellets in the bottom inch or so, to aid in the drainage process. I can feel that it is much more heavily saturated in the bottom couple inches compared with the rest of the pot and I don't think the roots are going to venture too far into the lower part of the pot if that is the case. Well too late for this round, but the White Urkles are on deck, heres a quick preview picture, but I will be doing a separate grow log for that grow.
IMG_6379.jpg

Some notes about the room that you may or may not have noticed. The hoods were both rotated 90 degrees to line up better with my exhaust system. This had been the original plan, but then I changed my mind during the original setup, and have since changed it back to the way I had planned in the first place. So now the closed circuit air cooled hoods are set up with an 8" inline fan and a ducting silencer on the air out end of the fan before the air is exhausted outside of the room through a backdraft damper. The air conditioning keeps everything nice and cool. I need to program it to be lower lights off temperature though, add that to the list of small final touches.
IMG_6371.jpg
IMG_63731.jpg
IMG_6374.jpg

I may need a separate dehumidifier for outside of the mother cabinet, I can keep the cabinet at 45% but the larger flowering area is only dehumidified by the a/c and that is only running part of the time to maintain temperature. We will see how things progress and I will order one if necessary.

Anyways, school is keeping me busy, but I will do my best to update as frequently as I can now that flowering is right around the corner. Things are about to get very crazy! I'm ready to see what this WiFi everyone raves about can really do! Show me the resinous buds :banana1sv6:

Thanks! I can't wait to see what your WiFi can do in that setup you just built! are you gonna run wifi in all the tables when you can, or just a few plants?

Nice meeks! Everything is looking great.

Thanks delae, it was a real scramble to get those girls transplanted on Tuesday. I had my most important class's midterm Wednesday at noon, and I didn't finish with everything that needed to be done regarding transplant until 11pm on Tuesday night. I didn't get nearly the amount of study time I was hoping for, to say the least. Luckily I was able to cram everything i needed to know into my brain temporarily before I spilled it back out onto the test paper and did very well in the end. The best part is that because I'm majoring in horticulture, I'm practically studying whenever I am in the grow room, haha!

Some pictures from inside one of the greenhouses on campus:

NFT tables for lettuce (empty in the picture), Pure coco drip setup in pots and slabs for tomatoes and other herbaceous annuals, and a badass fertigation/chemigation automatic mixer built in with the irrigation.
