Thanks for the kind words bro! I was skeptical of hydro for years and then gave in due to my back and the pains unloading 25 bags of soil at a time producs. The rockwool transplant is the nicest transplant you will ever do, no sweeping or cleaning up and the plants start growing instantly it seems. I always thought hydro buds sucked and stuff but after my first hydro run I chalked it up to a lot of hydro folks cutting corners, over doing it, not keeping super clean reservoirs and laziness. I never go above 1200ppm at the peak, I keep it around 900-1000 most the time, running Flora Duo with a bunch of additives. pH swings from 5.5-6.2 then I op off and pH it. The recirculating took some trial and error and can get funky when you try and do organic poop teas and such in the res. But upon filtering and messing around with that I've come up with some poop teas I feel good recirculating. Another tid bit with Rockwool hugo blocks is they are sterile, no gnats, no salts, controlled and the same every time.
I'm not gonna say my hydro tastes same as dirt but with certain varieties it's almost impossible to tell, but with some varietals I can def say they taste better in dirt BUT some I'm just as happy with from the hydro as dirt/coco and other mediums. I don't run O2 like most people in the res, Instead I have a small circulating pump that runs 24-7 and it creates a small waterfall in middle of reservoir and oxygenates more than a big air pump could. That 24-7 circ pump has a venturi with a small air pump hitting it but the oxygenation creating by flooming or whatever they call it seems to be all it needs!
Romulan x Space Queen, that's a TGA kind right? If I remember correctly the Space Queen is in other words a Romulan hybrid so that would be a Romulan backcross it sounds like. I don't get any lemon out of the Rom, more of a cheesy, wildflower, piney Romness pours out of it. She looks way diff in the cold versus the warm tent she was pregnant in...
How does that Rom Queen smoke? Seems like the Rom hybrids all pour sugar out hardcore! Hope I answered your questions, take care bro!
