Super frosty MEEKS, some plants seem to have some warmth issues, judging by the serrated leaves, i have that too on some of my plants, those branches are really filling up nicely, i love the night time pics

Beautiful ladies homie!!!
cheers for that fun fact :)
I myself added a UVB lamp to this grow, and have sorted my buds, so i will be able to compare effect :)
i have 1 bud that is similar in size and maturity as one under the UVB lamp so i have a good basis for comparison i think, i also used the reflector ststed on the site to increase refectivity by 100% i myself didn't notice a downturn in health due to this UVB lamp, asside from my own burnt tips due to nutes, but overall health was dark geen and lush :) under macro shots i actually noticed the trichs that were getting the most UVB penetration actually stretched slightly, and looked as though they were dripping, a definite difference i would say, i didnt have my UVB lamp positioned so that it would cover evenly, i wanted a basis for comparison, and had it far enough away not to cause too much heat stress, it did however raise my tent temps 2-3 degrees.
I will used it again. and again. and then i will buy more and keep using them :) my samples have knocked me senseless, so i cant wait for the heavy stuff :)
edit: i have also grown this strain twice without the UVB so even batter basis ...
maybe the UVB made mine foxtail !!!??
If the plant is responding by producing more trichomes, the UV light is at some point damaging the plant and triggering that extra trichome production to shield itself from the increased UV. If the damage is minimal enough (and this part is entirely speculation, I have not discussed this in any class) I would imagine that you could trigger the trichome production response without causing any visible damage, and maybe work it to your advantage, since obviously we are THC farmers, so increasing trichome production at minimal extra expense to yield or plant health, might entirely be worth it for more resinous meds! Caution to the fact that like I said before, all this is just a hypothesis, and I have no idea if there is a perfect balance that would work well consistently. I will be interested to hear whether you notice a difference, but won't be trying it in my own garden without seeing a larger scale test that has at least the minimal 3 repetitions per treatment for any comparison study to be statistically valid. I would say there is a high chance it caused the foxtails if in the previous two grows without UVB they were not producing foxtails, but if the plant has always grown like that, then obviously it was not the UVB triggering it. . . do you have pictures of you previous two runs with it that you could post in your log for comparison?
