I have 15 ft high ceiling in the basement and using 15 gallon bucket to flower with do u think I can get a pound

It really matters on alot of other factors. You should have at least a 600w HID, using a hydro system will yield more than soil (if done correctly), and you should plan on training your plant i.e., topping, scrog, lst or something to that extent. The 15 gallon bucket is a great start but you don't want a tall plant because light weakens expotentialy so you want to keep the plant short and have an even canopy by training it and keeping the light as close to the plant as possible (without burning).

Just keep reading info on growing indoors and check out some grow diaries so you have a good idea of how to accomplish your goal. You can get a pound with 1 plant, but you have to know what your doing. Good luck.

Yeah learned my lesson with these two 5 Foot tress this round. It's all about penetration ,so ya better have some verticals to go along with the top lights. On the flip side it out to be easy to get the heat out with such a tall ceiling :)

I have a 23x23 space under my garage (BASEMENT) we are doing a hydroponics deep water system.. With the lights hanging in the rafters shooting directly into an 8ft deep 23x23 "hole in the ground" do you think using 15-20 gallon buckets with 6 on each 4x8 tray for a total of 6 trays & 12 lights, Do you think we can get @ least a pound off each Plant growing them for 16 wks instead of 8 or 9 weeks and with the light directly over the plants the whole time with out burning them..??????

So you have 6 plants on each tray with 6 trays, thats 36 plants and 2 lights over each tray for 12 lights. Are they 1000w?? 36 plants with 12 lights horizontal (3 plants per light). So your goal is 36 lbs. with 12k watts, thats tough, but possible. Since your vegging for 8 weeks then blooming for 8 I think that extra veg time will help but if you want a lb. per plant that would avg. out to about 1.3 GPW which isn't easy. Hope you hit your goal and even if you don't get a lb. per plant your still gonna get alot of bud :) Maybe start a grow diary so these great people at The Farm can help you out (if you need it) along the way, good luck.

what is 1.3 GPW and yes iam running 1000 illumiktek ballast and hurdalux bulbs

So how many more lights would i have to add in.....................

That just means Grams Per Watt. You don't have to add anymore lights, it's possible to get 3 lbs. per light, it's just not easy. If I was you I would go with 2 plants per light because your vegging for so long and with 3 plants it would get really crowded and increase chances of mold or mildew. If you veg for 4 weeks then 3 plants per light is fine, but with all that veg time there gonna get huge (especially in hydro). I'm just giving you my opinion based on the specs you gave and I'm no expert. Either way (36 or 24 plants) your gonna get a great harvest then based on your own experience you can figure things out for the next run. Just remember to train (top and tie) so your plants don't get too tall and you should get close or even get more then your goal.

Thanks man for the help............... I got alot of questions i just dont have anyone to ask
