Nice to see ya back with the jack's. :)

I've just started to run 1 g/gal Hydro, 1.7 g/gal Calnit, 1.25 g/gal Blossom Booster and 1.25 g/gal epsom salts, right around 1 EC for a top drip DTW schedule. I foliar a 70 ppm MOST feed every Saturday.

I ended up losing most of my plants from a damn HTG Agromax tent that was offgassing, so I've had to start over in the recent weeks. So far, though, things are nice. In coco/hydroton.

Got some plants dialed in now using jacks at 3.0 and 1.0 of calcium nitrate and .5 grams of epsom using homemade sulphuric acid as ph down. They are growing in double stacked rockwool hugo blocks and are fed drain to waste. Im working on rockwool tests with a drain to waste set up. The plants seemed to respond to the drain to waste.

Looking to switch over to your new formula with a mix of your bennies to see the results.

I will post a few pictures soon of some freakshow jacks buds and some older pictures of some root masses.

yeah its too easy to KISS with jacks. DTW is superior, especially since you dont have to adjust anything ever. Plus, if you feed the same formula all the way through you can pretty much get one big ass res (or a big holding tank and little res)... fill it up, add the nutes, and that's it. set it and forget it. I like 20 seconds on and an hour off for 6" cubes the whole way through. I actually use the same schedule for my 12 gallon coco buckets as well and the plants thrive on it. With how cheap the nutes are, I never worry about wasting.

Hey prodigy plain old jacks, cal nit, epsom 3,2,1 beats veg+bloom imo. Ran multiple runs of both in dtw rockwool. Jacks plus fulpower and a moab kick = best. By best I mean: yield, taste, smell and bag appeal all for way less $$$'s than veg+bloom.
Veg+bloom does kick ass for freshly rooted clones in rockwool. I use veg+bloom for the first 3 weeks then switch to jacks 3,2,1 for a week then flower.

I meant 2.0 calcium nitrate!
SD how much moab and when?

Ill test that out this run.......got a nine weeker im about to flip!

What's up Snow? I run 3,2,1 thru week 5 at full strength. weeks 6 and 7 I drop to 50% strength and add moab at 1 tsp per 5 gallons. Then back to 75% strength for week 8.
All on a 9 week strain

So you only dose MOAB for two weeks? Do you reuse that coco?

I'm getting ready to place another order with them. I'm going into week 5. I'm going to pick up their bloom booster and give it a try during weeks 6 and 7. It shouldn't be a problem running it alone without the calcium nitrate or epsom salts and keeping the EC around 1.7 or 1.8. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. I'd really like it if I didn't have to use anything outside the Jacks lineup. It just makes it simple and inexpensive.

I'm really liking this thread, very informative.

Seriously? Now you're shitting in my thread also? Do you work for xtreme? X treme is a great product, but c'mon... you think showing a few big plants is gonna get you respect around here, but it won't at this rate.

stay the fuck out of my thread with your spam.

Nice name. Randy Jackson. The most annoying one on the worst show. Its perfect for you.

RECIPE FOR MOAB w/out vitamin B-1 @ 1 tsp/5 gal:

.1 grams/gal MAP
1.07 grams per gallon MKP

this is based on my MOAB weighing 5.7 grams per teaspoon and coming out to

N:3
P:68
K: 80

when added to 5 gallons of water (recommended dose is 1-2 tsp per 5 gal)

.1 MAP and 1.07 MKP comes out to

N: 3
P: 71
K: 80

so its pretty close considering the small amounts being used. If you want 2 tsp/5 gal strength just double it. .2 MAP and 2.14 MKP.

Thanks Cap!!!

Capulator, are running your recipe all the way to the end without any adjustments. Bloom boosters? Are you going to flush or run it to the end.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I am going to add their bloom booster at .5 grams per gallon at week 4. gonna run 25-50% strength last week for flush.

might run 1/2 strength plus imitation MOAB weeks 6 and 7. not sure yet.

Thanks Cap, I've been running Jack's Hydro Herb at 3.0 grams, 1.5 grams of epsom salt. After week 3 I switch to bloom booster for one week and back on the hydo herb till the end with no flush. I love your work and Snowblind. I'm going to run your mix and see if it makes a difference. I love your roots, whiter than a new pair of socks.

Have you played with Custom Hydro's PeKacid? One gram per gallon yeilds 69 ppm P and 44 ppm K.
