now my Question is on this^^ reversed female now thats "it" is starting to revert back to a dom female will ANY of the seeds put out on the plant be useable??.....

i have a fully seeded female LIME KUSH that holds my LIME KUSH FEM seeds but was just wondering if this plan^^^ is worth keeping around any longer....as you can clearly see in the above^^ pic that some of the bud/reversed sites are PRODUCING seeds....

All the seeds that are on the plant will continue to form and mature. No worries on that front..

thanks brother but im not really worried if they will mature or not im wanting to know if they will be FEM seeds seeing i reversed the plant and now its going back to its original genetic make up with is a female, but will have been pollenated by ITS SELF...

Yes, they will be female seeds. Female plants are only capable of making female seeds(pollen). They lack the male chromosome, there for its just not possible to pass it on to the seeds. Reversing a female doesnt really make it a male. It just makes it produce male flowers. A sort of survival mechanism, that gives it a chance to try again next season to find a male to be pollinated by..

Just like if you reversed a male plant and pollinated it with another male. The resulting seeds would be all male because there is no male chromosome to make em female.

ive always thought if this long winded thread was helping atleast one new grower or even an older grower grow a better batch of buds then im very happy and could not ask for anything more...weve been pretty hassel free with this thread and i owe a ton of that to all you very fine ppl for keping things in check and just keeping this thread to growing the best buds we can....

whats interesting for me personaly about those pics is the fact that, that plant was dusted just 9days ago and the seeds are just huge for there age...also i dont think ive ever seen 9day old seeds split there husk like you see in the first pic about, for me thtas a very odd thing to see at there age..

as in Black cherry cookie monster ? I love laws 101 . if you need a tester in the cookie bakery let me know . Ive trown in the towell on the whole thin mint cut in bean form . This cookie monster you have seems to be stable and passes the cookie trait off well . You show and tell when it comes to your studs and gals . In this new land of hybrids alot of pimps/chuckers give you half the story . You my big shark friend are more of a companionator .

i got two tech i like to use..

1. hand harvest pollen one sac at a time with a long scewer{sp} and a smallish clean plastic container, i place the container uder the open sac then tap it with the scewer and this way is time consuming but it gives me the cleanest pollen...

2. what i like to call the thump tech which is where i take the whole plant and lay it {CAREFULLY} on a sheet of wax papper then i THUMP the main stalk several time, then slightly lift it up and thump it a couple more times....this way give you much more pollen in a very quick manner BUT it also leaves you to clean up the pollen which can be a pain in the ass, but both ways work and i do use them both all the time...

ya i guess thats what it is but im going to go with just BLACK CHERRY MONSTER, but ya i hear ya BLACK CHERRY COOKIES does sound good aswell...

not sure how i want to speak to the COOKIE MONSTER just yet, umm i have the GSC aswell and this MONSTER dont look like the COOKIE at all so im not sure if this HYBRID is chasing the cookie in her genetics, BUT i am starting to see some purple coming on with the MONSTER so that may be some COOKIE GENETICS......also the male part of the MONSTER is DMT which is a very killer SOUR BUBBLE PHENO and at this time im not sure if the bubble was or can put out the PURPLE color im starting to see.....

one MONSTER was hammered with pollen the other was left untouched so we shall see how things go..

ive got no problem showing the males i use in my HYBRIDS there not the best looking studs but i do the best i can with the space i have to work with, you will never ever see a huge male in my LAB i just dont have room for that so i keep all my males on the small side in two litre bottles so the never get all that big....

I noticed that too about the Black Cherry Soda. She also makes some of the largest beans I have seen...damn bowling balls!!!

humm i dont know guys that BLACK CHERRY COOKIE name is starting to grow on me, there may be a name change here before its all over and done.....i thought about calling it that in the first place but was wanting to get the MONSTER name out there but ummm i really like both names...
