took some buds off the GSC 7 days ago at 16grams today fully dried i ened up with 5.1 grams wowww lost 11 grams over all that dont sound good to me on a low yielding plant to begin with...this cut may grow hard nugs and they may reamin hard after drying but they sure dont hold wieght all that good....

yet another NA from me on this plant....

all i need to do now is smoke a bit and see how that gos for me...

ok so i think im pissed off this afternoon:mad::mad:

has any one order any CAN FILTERS latly i have and i got mine the other day and this after noon i was going to get it put together and mounted in my 5x5, umm ok so take a look at this.


this pic shows im about 8in short of having enough seal padding to complete the rim.

this helps seal my flange once its in place prier to drill tapping the screws in..


second who the hell decided to change the bands around the filter that holds the pre filter on, what was wronf with the machine tight band??????

FNing velcro are you kidding me.

just look at how little of a tight seal we as growers can get with this cheap ass piece of shite.

im seeing some pretty shitty sucktion from this damn thing, not only did the quality got to hell the price went up, im very :mad::mad: right now....


so i have some sticky tabs on hand and will use those to finish sealing my flang connection and after i get the flang tapped i'll go around the top and bottom of this new filter and do some duct tapeing to try and get some seal on those ares....

this is some BS and im a long long long time customer and user of the CAN FILTERS but i may just start looking at something else if this is the quality that there going to be putting out these days...

I like my phresh filter 6x24. Flange is built in. I'm really keen on trying an inline, so I can exhaust out a window.

Hey at least you did not kill her. :( Were you able to get either plant to hermie???

She can yield better. gsc does not seem to be able to handle stress as well as other strains. I was not able to get her to hermie. Some people do better with some strains more so than others.

IMHO, she did not need more of anything. Too high a concentrations of npk in one form can lock out others and cause problems that can look like underfeeding. But in fact could be signs of a toxicity. Some farmers increase levels of certain elements so high the plant cannot properly transpire. IMHO, If your nute mix needed a pk boost or something else, it was lacking to start with.

When you are constantly giving a plant more than they can take in, there will be a buildup and then problems. You may still make it to harvest, but the plant will stay a dark green and never deliver the same buds as a plant that was given proper levels of food.

Same goes for a human, if you take in more calories than you expend. You will get fat and/or sick. Some humans can take the abuse more so than others. All in the genetics.

the new drop is inbound 129 packs of many kinds...

the plants i just took down i will need to get some testers out as soon as there dry enough and then maybe early march i'll make another drop....

i have some really good friends who are working on getting me some new cuts so 2013 should be pretty good indeed...

i hear ya loud and clear my brother and i do totaly agree, for ne this plant just demands to much of me and i dont have the time to dial her in and i have many others going to take care of...

i like most ppl do run into strains that they just cant seem to get a handle on and this is one of those plants for me, i have two new ones going and there about a foot tall and here comes all those same problems as ive always had with her...the spots the dark patchs and the curling of the leves, been flushed twice already soo ya down the road we go again......

hope to get a different make of this stain before to long so nect time im talking about GSC it will be with a different cut for-sure....

Funny I had a buddy complaining about the velcrow, just zip tied it... But went on a good couple minute rant LoL

I always make my filters. Easy to clean change arrange all that. Bulk charcoal can be cheap and worth it if your goin the ways for it.

Just made a 6x24... Was around 40-50$ with the charcoal and pre filter....and done right haha

got her from a friend, was looking for seeds but none ever made it my way so i grabed the cut when it was offered to me...

pretty excited to finaly have her and really iching to get her into flower, dont think im going to do anything with her this round except grow her best i can..

this cut has a mind of its own and she seems to be doing what ever she wants, i have not touched this plant sence taking her of her mother all the branching is just the way shes been growing....

all that discolored portion on the lower half no biggy there that will all be removed shortly, need to think about getting into flower pretty soon....


kinda waiting on the OX but i may not have the time to wait for those..
