Wow @pRiMo303, the very same thing happened with the male Mack OG I was gonna keep, the lower preflowers for 3 nodes up are male the top 4 nodes had females .....I dunno? I still have 3 females so I tossed it from the grow but instead of killing it off I put it outside!
I 100% have plants with hermaphroditic expression and unfortunately I have no reason to believe its stress related. Sucks..they're so stinky. I will be pulling all out tomorrow for thorough inspection, but all the females that I can see have male flowers on the lower nodes.

Can't wait to see some pics . Have a great holiday weekend brother.

Sorry to hear that, I've been going over these 3 gals thoroughly every other day like a hawk and so far so good. I've read a thread on IC where this had happened and the guy said all the cuts he took from the bottom remained males while the top half cuts remained females ....o_O:confused::confused:, trippy huh?! I got limited space or else I'd test that out for myself. I'll be flowering mine out in about a week or so!!

This is very frustrating! My main tester ran all the gear without a hitch. I guess it's time to quit making seeds and move on.

Hell naw, don't even sweat that Mota that's something no one would want bro! We all know shit happens, there's no such thing as a strain/cross where every bean will be flawless ....gonna be a few weirdos pop up every once in a while no matter what it is or who breeds it ....a li'l more so when it has some Chem, Diesel, or OGK genes in the mix so no biggie. I still have 3 gals that are doing fine and preparing to hit the flower room next weekend!

No need to go that far. Shit happens. I am up to run again, but I took all my cuts before they even preflowered so I'm skeptical that the cuts would show only one. I was planning on culling the males and removing the male flowers from the lower nodes on the others and see what happens. Keep up the work and try not to get discouraged.

@symbiote420 and @Motarebel ... I spoke to someone else who had experienced the same..Passed out cuts of a seed plant before it was sexed. Once sexed displayed intersex. The cuts passed out never displayed herm traits, but the donor had been axed. He also said others that have experienced this said the male flowers stop showing and never mature. There's been some speculation if it could be attributed to flowering young seedlings in hybrids before being sexed. I dunno..I'm plucking the male flowers off and running em.

Ya man I see balls on lots of seed plants then pluck them and they never come back. I attribute it to the plant being not quite mature and also they are seeing my environment for the first time. 2nd and 3rd run is always the true test

And if youre getting into the fem game youre gonna have to put up with some bs. Full disclaim...these plants are survivors and will do anything to keep theyre genetics alive

Culled these dudes yesterdat. So 9/10 germ rate, 4/5 f/m. I'll put some pics of the females up soon. They were watered recently w leftover nutrient solution that was very diluted, but other than that just beneficials, carbs, etc. Today is officially day 14..pics taken on 12. A lot of these guys popped open this morning..collecting pollen today and tomorrow. @Motarebel can you post pics of the SensiStar? I was hoping to find a pheno leaning on the SS. Backups were took Saturday, including males. Pics below are day 12, 2gal pots, 3-3.5' not including pot height. Flower tops are 2-2.5"+ range...and stinkay.

That is VERY odd. My LD didn't show any herm issue's at all. The one female i have reeks, and doesn't show any male parts whatsoever. She's cloned and ina super stable environment. Keep up your Grizzly @Motarebel , frustration comes with this job description brother lol. And you've BEEN much more thsn a asset to this cannagame. THIS LD is super special.
PRIMO if your dude makes beans remember me please, i wanna run LD full throttle, the Stinch on mine's alone is intriguing.
Respect

These males are very similar in stinch to the max, except one has something additional I can't place. A slight sweetness like anisette or licorice. Since everything didn't germ at exact same time kind of difficult to compare plant structure accurately, but cutting were took from the males as well.

@Gamrstwin36 I think the male flowers on the females had something to do w environmental shock..HID and not being sexed prior to flower. Regardless, they were removed yesterday and I'm proceeding w test. After talking to more growers and breeders I'm confident it isn't a concern. I plan to cross it to itself as well as to a few other strains..my Bruce Banner #3 comes to mind.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have had some unfortunate and unexpected events happen. In addition to this all my genetics were thrown in a dumpster. I salvaged what I could, but nothing is labeled..strains, sex, phenos... A real mess. I'm about 25 days in and gonna take cuts of everything, hopefully I will be able to keep everything without having to source again. Unfortunately no LD males. I'm sure these trays of unlabeled cuts will produce a few males, but I dunno what's what.

Junk yard dogs..

So I was able to rescue a large percentage of my clones from the trash. There are quite a few LDs, but phenos and sex are unknown. I was unable to collect pollen previously, so hopefully I have at least one of each male somewhere in the mix.

I took some cuts of my remaining females on day 26ish. I'll keep the progress of those posted, and hopefully I won't lose any before deciding on a keeper.

Today is day 33. Girls are looking healthy. They've been given a similar regiment to Alien's, but dialed down a bit, as they were transplanted just prior to flip.

Cheers,
p

Sorry for the lack of updates, been real busy. Some good news, my LDs were the first of my flowering cuts to root..shooting up out of the top of the cube. Rooted in 10ish days, don't really recall. Hopefully everything else will follow. I appear to have 3 phenos? #9 and #6 look almost identical. #4 has a similar appearance to these two, but noticeably more trichomes. And then the #2, which i find the most visually appealing. Unfortunately shes about 4' away and against the wall so I cant get a very close look. Anyway, without further ado, pictures as promised..~44/45 days. Pardon the quality--I was holding my Method7s over my phone's camera.
