2kw Neville’s Haze - First Rdwc Grow

Because the light isn't what's killing it. Your logic makes no sense. Sorry the heat or poor ventilation due to it being so close were factors i was considering.

@Shamus thanks!

The Nevilles Haze that is currently growing is going to be a Mother plant only. I wanted to grow a few (4 total?) more mothers under LED only, is there any light you suggest? All mothers are grown in soil and 4" cubes; the goal was to make bonsai mothers for clones :)

I plan to grow the clones under MH/HPS lights, that shouldn't pose an issue should it? I'm assuming growing the clones under LED (& germination station) then switching over to the bulbs & RDWC = bad?

I would suggest this for moms and clones/teens

well i guess that wasnt a good suggestion @Sadturtle and I would have to say so myself. i will say i did take a couple dabs before i looked over your thread though lol sorry.. :/ pulling the light away would never kill your plants though!

Thanks FooDoo/Shamus, I should be able to get some from a friend. Neville's Haze is growing pretty well under LED and my friends have had good results with similar lights which is why I used them (plus they were free) :)

Here's some more of my pics from 1/13 till now:

She's really a hardy plant!

Just watered her, really need to get another pressure sprayer (my old one was used accidentally to bleach the walls)..

At the very least, I want to get some nice photos. If anyone is interested I can start using my GoPro or SLR to take better photos.. :) Here's a leaf!

You know @Shamus and @FooDoo thats pretty messed up you guys had to bash me like that and @FooDoo twisting my words saying light kills. you made me feel like shit and then when I admit I was wrong you can't even humble yourselves to give a positive reply. all I'm trying to do here at the farm is help and learn as much as possible like anyone else. If Im wrong or make a mistake I would hope someone would help me out instead of telling me how wrong I am.

@KushMan707 I'm sorry man, I tried explaining that more light is needed when they get so thin and tall, as did happy b before me. You were rather adamant on your opinion and everyone is allowed one so I wasn't going to try and sway someone who seemed to have a rather solid stance on the subject. Even in your last post you commented on how less light won't kill.. When it killed some of Sadturtle 's seeds.

I guess I just assume most folks have hardened skins for Internet comments just because I've dealth with a bunch of shit. And that is my fault.

My only advice is check then check again and the possibly even check again when your giving some one advice.. More often than not its life or death for the plants when they're posting up threads asking for help or in this instance very light deprived seedlings.

To get tight internode stacking and thick stems you generally (if using CFL or T5) want the light damn near right on top of them.. No more than a foot I would say.

If you ever have any questions just shoot me a pm man.. I'd be more than happy to help. Least I can do

Keep learning, the farm is an excellent place for that. It's where I've learned a lot. So many excellent growers here and troves of good info

Nevils haze is almost pure sativa right?? The one I grew out a long time ago looked nothing like yours. Very thin sativa leafs. just a heads up I grew it from 12/12 from the seed and that bitch ended up over 6 feet tall before got chopped so I hope you have high ceilings she's a tall one. And if it helps I have killed so many damn seeds lights close lights far lights in between I am just hard on em i guess lol fuck it it's only money.

We aren't mommy and daddy here to wipe bums and dripping noses. Man up a little brotha. It's tough love.

You would have something smart to say when you were the one twisting my words around. It seems as though you want to be the "mommy and daddy" since you're showing me "tough love". Sorry but you're being rude.

Please end this here.. (Foodoo too) If you want to discuss it with foodoo then send him a PM, this is sadturtles grow log, not a place to bicker

By the way turtle the plants are looking good man, a little crispy on the edges but I'm sure you'll workt hat out no problem.

I like the pics man

You seeds are doing better than mine..

@Sadturtle I apologize for being involved with this obtrusive argument in your thread.

That haze is looking nice @Sadturtle the nodes are growing really tight! Those burns don't look bad.. If your worried about it getting worse just water with plain water. shes in some black gold soil right?

Hey, its been a while! Finally started practicing with trimming & cloning. Also almost finished the room since the clones are about ready to go into the RDWC setup. A lot of my issues with the burns seemed to have originated from severe underwatering (my friend wasn't doing his part on the watering schedule :( ), luckily it seems most of it is resolved now.

Anyhow, on to the photos :D

Side view of Neville, lots of browning caused by leaving trimmed leaves/stems in soil. It was a tip taken from a friend, luckily we found out this was bad a week or so later :(

Plant showing signs of improvement, but just barely.
IMG 4149

Critters started showing up, forget the names of these guys but it wasn't too bad. Once I got rid of the dead leaves/stems they disappeared over the next few days.

First cola sprouted! This was when I found out my light schedule was horrifically off (12/12 instead of 18/6). Had to re-adjust light schedule at this point to try to bring it back to veg.

Thick Trunk tho

Finally tried my hands at tying down branches of the plant. Really worked wonders for getting underbelly & side-canopy growth!

Also took quite a few pictures with my SLR, wanted to try my hand at it. The pictures came out pretty nice, I'll upload them shortly!
