How big is your area?
IMG 20150903 120044

This is the side of the yard I use. I believe its the most inconspicuous area of my back yard since I have one nosey neighboring right wing nut case on the other side.
IMG 20150903 120056

I move the plants around about 5-10 ft from east to west and back every day so they get direct sunlight as much as possible, but my medical leave of absence is over on the 6th so maybe putting them on the main area of my backyard will work better. Hopefully by that time we will not be having visitors every day to see our newborn. (the other reason I don't put them out there)
On the other side of my yard is about the same size (and completely cemented) as the side the plants are on now, but it has my shed and the creepy Trump supporter who never fails to surprise me and pop his head over the fence like the faceless neighbor from the TV show Home Improvement, but instead of wise and philological small talk I am told why gays shouldn't be allowed to marry. Anyways...sorry for the rant.
Any suggestion to what might help is greatly appreciated!

I agree about the thieves. Its really my only fear. I can lose my crop to nature and be okay knowing I did my best and I kinda cheer for the nature challenge, but the threat of thieves keep me up at night.

Question...
I recently bought some Dave's Insanity Sauce and was hoping that might be okay to use with Dr. Bronners Castile soap as a spray. I've searched online but have only found 1001 different recipes for making such a spray. Is Dave's Insanity too hot for plants?

It's not too hot for plants, but what are you going to do if you find your capsaicin-soaked buds are still soaked with capsaicin? You will not be able to smoke them if it's still present, that much I know for sure.

If you'd like an idea of what could happen, what I mean, go get yourself a good iron pan. Put a couple of tablespoons of cayenne pepper in it and turn on the heat, then wait for what happens. I've done it myself (one of my bright ideas during my early career as a wife).

Today it reached 104 degrees and I am worried that the increasing heat will harm my plants. Its supposed to get as high as 110 by Friday and am afraid if I don't seek advice I'm may regret it.

When is it too hot for my plants and what measures can I take to keep them safe from the scorching heat of the sun?
Please advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm getting down to about 2-3 weeks till harvest on 2 plants.
Ewe 2 (Humboldt Seed Organization)
&
Graceland OG (Cannaventure Legends Mix)
I'm posting a couple pictures at night since I can't seem to get a descent shot durning the daylight hours....shitty smart phone camera.
Ewe 2

IMG 20150910 003951

I'm going to start flushing with pure water and molasses in the next week or so. At the moment I am giving them a 3-26-22 Earth Juice Seablast and microbeman tea 2 times per day.
If I learned anything its that I won't use a coco/HP Pro mix based medium outdoors again. I failed to take advice given in another post, but lesson learned.
I am going to start a 0-50-30 Earth Juice Master Bloom for the last week maybe 2 depending on if they need longer then 2-3 weeks till harvest. I do not have a microscope to check the tricomes, but I plan on picking one up tomorrow.
Any suggestions as to what I can do to fatten these girls up in the next couple of weeks?

The Graceland OG (not even sure if it's that) is about 2-4 weeks out I think. I hope its done soon because she stinks up my whole block. She's definitely the stinkiest. She's not as solid as the Ewe 2, but is stickier and like my indica dominant Ewe 2 has amazing bag appeal potential.
She is getting the same feeding but doesn't have the best pot.

Please... Any feed back will really help me out. I'm nearly lost as to what I need to feed these girls at the moment and what will help them plump up for that final push before harvest. Thank you in advance and have a great week. ( Stay cool to all my hero's in northern Cali!)

What strain did you grow last year? Next year I want to do this right and grow some big girls. 3.5 lbs is amazing!

Strain was jack the ripper, the pheno I had was a awsome outdoor strain(lost it).sat Dom, buds weren't super tight but Def a huge resin maker.

I think the jack skellington pheno I have will prob be a good contender outsdoors, buds are a little tighter then it's daddy (jtr).

I have a buddy with my mom plant outdoors right now(went out late) we will see how it does.

The plant material above ground can handle VERY high temps. The roots cannot. Shade, insulate and protect the roots from the heat and you should be ok. When it's very, very hot is not a good time to feed, especially if your goal is to push production. If you feel you must, use VERY diluted feeds instead of alternating feed-water-feed.

I love anything by Subcool and The Green Avengers! I've never had a chance to grow JTR, but coincidentally it was my 1st choice when I sought out seeds for this grow. Unfortunately the seed bank I always did business with no longer would except my credit card or anyone else apparently. I ended up going with a company I'd never used before. I was satisfied with The service itself, but really miss my original seed bank.
I had a chance to meet and chat it up with Subcool and some of the TGA farmers at the 2012 Medical Cannibus Cup in LA (really San Bernadino) who really are just great people and extremely passionate and helpful. I was lucky enough to pick up some Jesus OG seeds which is a JTR/HELLS ANGELS OG cross and believe me it was special! They were not advertising them at the Cup and you had to ask for them, but very few people knew, but Subcool clued me in and explained the cross. Extremely interesting and passionate human being. I also picked up Ace of Spades, Cheese Quake and Plush Berry.
The Jesus OG was a great yeilder for being an OG strain and was a tough girl to grow, but the Hells Angels and JTR cross was a masterpiece at the time in LA where OG ran the world and everyone thought Swerve was God. Lol.
Now that I finally registered here and became a "farmer" I can't wait to pick up some seeds from the breeders here.
Green Point, Motarebel, Loompa, Divine, Exotic and BOG really have my mouth watering.
But I am finally going to get the JTR and see what phenos I can excel with and grow that fire I know it's capable of without having worry about auto flowering and feminized seeds. Of everyone I met at the Cannibus Cup it was Subcool and TGA crew, Tha Docta, Karma and Kyle Kushman who where the most down to earth and willing to share the love of this plant with me and just talk cultivation and genetics with little oh me. It really helped that in the 3 days I never once took a dab and kept it educational with the educational sampling of all the newest strains the kids are all talking about...like Girl Scout Cookies. Once I finally got a decent cut of it from the Ken Estes crew I wasn't too impressed and still don't know it was real, but we sold the hell out of it in my collective.
Once again sorry for the rant, but that was really fun just thinking back and typing this out. Ill shut up now.

I don't know who this is but my guess would be the guy who helped make my collective locally famous for its cannabis cup quality extractions. Same guy who traveled the states with the Cannabis Cup and Hempcon (hopefully I didn't say too much).
Anyways if it is you...what's up bro? I see you found my grow report.
Clue me in bro...

Really sucks that I just saw this reply right now!
I've nearly lost the Ewe 2. It got a terrible heat/light burn. I didn't see that I shouldn't feed her at her regular nutes and she paid the price. I was left with no choice, but to harvest the worst of it and trying to save what's left. She was still 3-4 weeks out I believe. The other girls handled the heat well, but the Ewe 2 nearly burned away.
I will post up some new pics tomorrow or her and what I harvested from her. I've already donated much of what I cut out, but saved some to show all who would like to see and possibly help me avoid this in the future.

I just got some rainbow jones and hemperor seeds =) I'll be poping the jones first. We're getting ash like crazy over here.

-lurkin
That is an awesome mix you got there Lurkin! Never thought of GDP to anything like Casey Jones. Sounds amazing and extremely unique in everyday!
I've never heard of Hemperor before. I'm guessing its a Jack Herer cross. I've helped grow Jack Herer once before and I can almost guarantee that it was not the real Jack. It was actually the 1st time I grew anything outdoors and it was massive. It barely passed as marijuana if you ask me. I think it was some thing of south east Asian strain.
Anyways sounds like you have some good stuff coming up. Sorry about the ash. Sucks what's happening up there. Where did you find these genetics? I would be really interested in the rainbow Jones!!

Nice grow mantis claw.wen i saw your list of strains i thought 2things.1-great line up. 2-i ran (or tried to) a few of seedsmans strains as the ata tundra you mentioned.they were all absoloute garbage.the ones that did germinate anyway.with out a shadow of a doubt the worste beans iv ever paid for.
Forgive me as i didnt read every post but i dont see you mention the ata tundra or any pics of it.i was curious to see how the seedsman strain is going for you?not that it matters as you have plenty of other great strains going.
