Agreed with six. Jar it. Burp it. Read threads on drying and curing. An issue i faced on my very first budded plant was the hay smell. I learned pretty quick that the faster you dry it the worse the smell comes out. Try watering heavy before harvest. And keeping control of the humidity where you dry. I forget the numbers for temp and rh% in the drying room. Maybe if someone would chime in...?Its not wet or dry just feels fresh its still has the sour smell but not as strong as before but at the same time a hey or plant like smell a little
My first piece of advice fer him is to not listen to u. Dont water ur plants heavy b4 flower thats fer damn sure. Keep the dryin rm 66deg and 60%rh.Agreed with six. Jar it. Burp it. Yeah ya dont wanna dirty up ur plantsFor sure, the only thing that's worse for plants than water is dirt
I agree gettin it jared up b4 u loose too much moisture is key. I also think if ya dry it slower it dries more uniformly and ultimately smells betterLol im breakin all g dogs rulez cause i always water before chop and my dry room is 78f and 35%rh hahaha.aint gunna change it anytime soon :)
Good weed will smell good even with a 3 day dry as long as you jar it before its crispy.when you jar it has more to do with smell then any other step in the process ime.
I think ud be well served to get those numbers proper man.Yeah i water before chop to help slow down the whole process.my house and flower are both just really dry and i just got tired of fighting it.
See! That's the spirit! My first piece of advice fer him is to not listen to u. Dont water ur plants heavy b4 flower thats fer damn sure. Keep the dryin rm 66deg and 60%rh.
That's pretty much why i do. Rh% is too low my plants dry too fast. I water before and i add a humi to the drying roomYeah i water before chop to help slow down the whole process.my house and flower are both just really dry and i just got tired of fighting it.
Just to keep it at about 4 days plus lolThat's pretty much why i do. Rh% is too low my plants dry too fast. I water before and i add a humi to the drying room

So when can i come out and visit? Salmon fish and smoke?I vent some of the 55%rh air out of my veg room and into the dry room to keep stable humidity. Works well for me.
RH rises as temps drop so by the time the moist air hits my dry room it's cooled off from 75 to 68 ish providing a slight increase in rh.
Then again I don't have to worry about smell too much. The moose foxes bears and wolves don't care.
Wow man! I'm putting my shit away lol. Some holiday cheer, bout to chop this bitch down soon.stardawg f2
