It's true cactus, I know I'd be dead without my garden. I think @Papa Indica could attest to the health benefits if the garden too. Does wonders for my mental health. I see the plants as an extension of myself. If they are doing bad it's because I'm doing bad and they do well when I do well so if I look in there and see something I don't like it's a reflection on myself and a reminder to look at what is wrong in my life and when I fix those things the plants improve. We are all just different iterations of the same force called life.
To be perfectly honest it's one of the reasons I haven't already introduced my brains to the wall behind me, like a long time ago. I'd have to say I'm one of those that's living proof to the benefits to one's mental health.

I hate to say it but advanced nutrients ph down is more concentrated but more expensive. Not sure which is better value but I buy advanced since they're at least truly supportive of the cannabis industry and I don't need nearly as much to move ph.
I started to feel funny about adding pH up/down to my mixes just because someone pointed out that that stuff is some nasty shit that's going into my plants. After I switched back to FoxFarm nutes I started using their Big Bloom, which I hadn't been doing before, and I soon realized that I could mix in all the stuff I wanted and then when I added the Big Bloom it would automatically bring my pH right into the range I wanted. I also use a good dose of ewc in my soilless mix and I've always heard that the ewc will autocorrect the pH level so, feeling like I've got it covered on both ends.
So, ever since my pH meter and up/down solutions have been set aside, I still use them for my cloning machine because it definitely makes a big difference there but, that's the only place I'm using it now.
Oh yeah, and my city/town tap water comes out at 29 ppm, lower than some people's ro water!

Environment> genetics> lights> nutes IMO
Personally, I think I'd put genetics first. At least 3-4 times I've hit what I would call a true keeper and with those plants it seemed you almost couldn't fuck 'em up. This beautiful plant we all love so much is a weed after all, makes sense to me. I've seen them take some pretty brutal shit and still produce and produce even better a lot of the time.

All I know is I got to get a pic

Ya I made some eds. and that shit is to strong for me. Made me paranoid. I kept thinking somehow the leftovers were gonna end up in his kids hands for NO reason. But i couldn't quit thinking about what would happen if his kid found that last brownie.. It bothered me so bad I ate it... And that wasn't a good idea either....

Lol my friend has a dog that will find cannabutter no matter where it's at and eat itself to paranoia. We can't let her anywhere near it.
