And here is a frequently asked question off earth juices website (the nutes I'm using)

I mixed a solution using the Earth Juice Original Formulas "Advanced Chart" and my pH is 3.90?

Earth Juice will work in harmony with the medium and self adjust.

Since 1991 the mass majority of gardeners, including ourselves, who use the Earth Juice Original formulas simply mix with water and use without adjusting the pH.

The initial pH of Earth Juice Original formulas will generally be on the mild acidic side, this is primarily due to the natural extracts, phyto-acids and protein (amino) acids contained in Earth Juice formulas.

Though Earth Juice products no longer carry an OMRI endorsement, they remain 100% organic and OMRI compliant. They have made no change to their once OMRI certified recipe. It would appear that Earth Juice creators have simply opted out of the increasingly politically motivated circus that OMRI has become.

Like some have stated there are various brands, types and styles of nutrients. Most work great and everyone has a preference.

If your looking for organics earth juice is at the top along with a few others. Some say earth juice promotes flavor over yield. I've noticed very tasty & aromatic flowers using it.

They are also relatively inexpensive too. So that makes it easier on the wallet.

If you do look into them, the original 5 are designed for hand feeding soil.

I can't personally say if fox farms is any good, never used them.

As far as when to add nutes I would either let them grow for 2-3 weeks. The soil should have enough nutrients for that.

Or you can mix a very light batch for them now. I've noticed feeding my seedlings light feed makes them blow up through the seedling stage.

Just be careful. When I say light feedings I mean it. Or else you can burn your babies stunting their growth.

So maybe take their lightest feed schedule and dilute it by half just to be safe until you see how they react.

Also water just plain water in between feedings.
So feed, water, feed, water etc.
