Were glad you could make it over, and glad you made it home ok. Floyd and I appreciate the help you guys gave us yesterday with the cold frame. You fellers are welcome here anytime.
I'm liking your design on the smaller frames. I'm dragging out some of the top rail, like you had for the bigger one. We'll be able to start enough veggies to get the farmer's market idea rolling.
I have 3 more city lots, already fenced off on three sides, that I can till up. The other 3 aren't fenced off, but that'll be the eventual goal. It'd still be less than 1/2 the size of yours, but we'll do with what we've got.

I'm tilling my "big" garden under and planting it with clover for the deer. Just can't seem to keep the weeds out of a 140'x60' garden. I'll keep the little 40'x20 foot one for the Old Hen's goodies. She loves her tomatoes and other veggies. Might try some watermelon again, but I'm not sure why. Can't grow 'em worth a damn. Don't even eat 'em, but the OH and Pullet does.

That sounds like a plan. Im excited to sell at the farmers market this year, and I think the chili roaster will be a huge success in the lower ark valley. Please let greg know I didnt forget about getting the contact info for the beekeeper, just havent talked to the feller who knows him yet.

Hey guy, I have some watermelon seed that might work for you if you have trouble w em up that way. Its called blacktail mountain and was bred in Idaho for short season areas, melons in 2.5 months, it makes a fridge size melon a little smaller than a basketball. We sell the shit out of em every year. If you want some pm me and well get you sorted. Got plenty.

Remember me telling you guys about the crazy bitch next door that mowed her lawn five times in the last week? Well, we had three days of rain. Ground is like walking on a wet sponge. She mowed yesterday. She mowed today.
Starting to think the gal's a wee bit daft.....
