There are not many things you can safely spray in flower. It seems as youhr he'll bent on spraying dangerous chems on your plants, then smoking and allowing others to smoke said buds. I'm going to bow out of this thread, as this goes against everything I stand for as a grower. I help sick ppl, not get them.aicker with bad chems being sprayed on the buds.

Lol I hear that..

U know drinking morning jo reading about the active aerosol ingredient Permethrin.

Looks like its safe for food and feed crops, on ornamental lawns, on livestock and pets, in structures and buildings, restaurants and clothing.

this is what I use its great but don't use late in flower will get a chem taste for sure

Ya bro. Read the precautions on that. Remove pets and people. Avoid contact and breathing. Call poison control if on skin? My goodness. If smoked what will this dry death dealing chemical do. 85% other ingredients. Sounds like tobacco companies not telling you about the 200+ chemicals in that tobacco. I know it would be a shitty shitty decision to make but with the way this stuff says it finds its ways in every crevice. The bud may grow around this toxin and be very dangerous. I would just pull the ones in 2-3 weeks of flower. Wash the veg and keep on trucking.

Found this. Looks like Permethrin is actually non toxic to humans.

"Permethrin is an insecticide in the pyrethroid family. Pyrethroids are synthetic chemicals that act like natural extracts from the chrysanthemum flower. Permethrin is used in a number of ways to control insects. Products containing permethrin may be used in public health mosquito control programs. They may be used on food and feed crops, on ornamental lawns, on livestock and pets, in structures and buildings, and on clothing. Permethrin may also be used in places where food is handled, such as restaurants."

Looks like its whats used to treat fleas and lice on humans. Faiiirly safe as long as you dont stay in fumigated area for 3 hours afterwards.

Also, Less than 1% of the permethrin put on the skin of people was taken into the body. If permethrin is eaten, most of it is quickly absorbed. The pyrethroids easily pass through the lungs into the body if inhaled, but no specific data on permethrin was found.

does it say what happens to it when you burn the product at say 450f then inhale those vapors? heres the problem with ag products being used on weed.ag products assume it will be used outdoors under natural sunlight.they assume you will have a chemical breakdown from the suns uv light.they assume the food crop will be processesd and washed by the end user.they assume you will not be smoking the strawberries before washing them lol.so imo 99.9% of all the chemical safety statments you will read about will not consider you are growing a smokeable product grown indoors under artificial lighting that does little if anything to help break down the chemicals.so if a chemical says 30 day re-entry period you should assume its more like 200 days for indoor growing.and you should assume it is never tested for smoking/inhaling combusted vapors at all unless it specifies this on the label.so now the usable list of pesticides is very very limited to what ?

Very true. As well as very to the point and informative. Seems to answer your question I can only end with this quote as there is not enough data to show without a doubt either way.

I agree with you on several points although I also cannot find any documented research to support your claim.

Get a good IPM system in place that will prevent those outbreaks in the first place is the best bet!

There was s a big difference between on the skin and in the lungs
