I set the griddle for 175 it's always 2 or 3 hours.Can you see the puddle getting smaller & leaving a film behind?

nope. its just now starting to evap off. i put a fan over it.
so maybe in 2 more hours. i bet i could have the water bath hotter.. but ill go with this slow ass shit. the stove has no temp inidcators on the burners dials. so you go from low to high. but it has every other feature, laughs.

will take practice.

One guy on that other post put it directly on the electric stove top,I'M sure he had it on low

im at the right temp for the ISO with my temp gauge but it could be wrong. laughs. but its working so we will see what happens.. it has to evap sooner or later and as long as i do not burn it, what the hell. ill get a bowl of oil by night fall yet.

maybe we get a bowl. laughs.. at least ill know soon.

how do i know when im done.. i see shatter like stuff.. am i done?


and i used way to much water for the bath. heh, next go around should be better i hope.

i just use razor blade to scrape it correct? or do i wait longer?

yeah its not bad. it taste good and strong. granted wont compete with you guys who been growing for years. but for a noob grown herb, i like it. way better than the hash, and the herb it self.

at least it does not taste artificial.

just broke up the third jar and put it in the freezer. ill think i know how to make this go smoother, but im still gonna keep it to like 20 grams. i do not have the stuff to filter quick.
but i know how to keep it cold tho.. the frozen plate sitting on top of the frozen pees works.. try it. or the cold plate on anything cold i guess is what im getting at. because i did not filter it quick. yet it seems good color from the wash and filter. that makes me think it works well.

i have a question. i just scraped the pyrix the best i can with a razor blade.. i put it in the freezer and i made freaking sugar. hah..

my question is, do i have to clean the dish out with ISO again before i make more. or does it matter since its the same flower, that is assuming i missed any THC in the pan with the razor.

I got that dry crumbles when i evaped outside,i liked it. It will break down a mix with the new stuff,unless it was funky i would use it. Does this seem like something the kids would like to smoke out of?

i fucked up again, yet.. i kept my shit cold.. made more this time.. so i can be happy all day.. ill worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.



i figure ill have this done in 4 hours. maybe less i go low heat.

Typically folks I know that feel cookies isn't anything special haven't had a good one... There's lots of cookie crosses easy to get a watered down one, or one grown mediocre. They can be as impressive visually, and quality as anything held in high regard.

I agree with you as far as nanners...forum and cherry pie lineage will most definitely show nanners no question. I have just about every cookie gal worth having in the stable. Grown them out with and without nanners. I simply lollipop them, definitely helps reduce the chance of them on lowers. Other times I simply pluck them off when I see them, they never grow back.

I wouldn't bother trying to breed it out, you'd be chasing your tail. Some of the best chems and OG's Ive grown can and will exhibit nanners too. Us as growers need to educate ourselves on what genetics, and tendencies are embedded in the strains we're growing. IMO cookies is an experienced growers strain. Ogkb I feel is the most stable out of the bunch, dosidos closely following. Cherry pie can be super finicky, but grows top notch flowers.

I just ran all my trim and larf, maybe 475 grams. In return I got 50 grams oil. Running a pump for days is a bitch but worth it. Cheers to recycle! Don't forget about the pollen mission.

Idk man ove grown so many cookie cutz and seeds its boring and i feel there is way better all around plants
