Just wait till you flip haha..

Veg update... can’t tell if anything is really looking any better from the nute overdose only been a day though..

View attachment 756231

Flower day 48.. flowers are not really bulking up as much as I thought they would’ve been by now (still super frosty and smell is great though).. guess we will see, they still have another 11-12 days.. I think I kind of over did it on the nutes just a bit..

I run 315 3100k. I really like the spectrum. I would highly recommend it. I don't think it would beat a 600hps, but I think 2 of them would. The heat would probably be about the same. If your worried about heat get a cool tube. Although the glass will cut down the uv. Definitely check out demon trich. Check the thread club 315 cmh.

The only prob with cool tube is, I have 2 tents in a almost completely sealed room. I say almost because it had a glass window that was really just a large piece of glass held in place by molding, I tooom the glass out, replaced it with plexiglass and cut a 6in round hole to place ducting from a portable a/c unit, which didn’t work because the window is 8ft off the ground and when I ran the ducting the hot air just back flowed into the unit causeong the unit to stop blowing cold air, the exhaust just isn’t strong enough to push the air 8ft vertically.

So back to the point, there’s nowhere for the hot air to escape and the room gets to about 100 degrees when both tents are running.

I was thinking about building a shelf and then mounting the the a/c unit on it, next to the window.

I can’t cut the plexiglass and for a window unit to it because the window goes into a shaft that goes into a room that is about 20fy below me, that why I was trying to run the ducting cause from the angel the window is you can’t see the ducting and also I figured 20ft up the hot air would rise to the skylight and mix in with the cold air so the room below me wouldn’t feel the temp change from the exhaust on my a/c unit.

So now I’m out of ideas and not sure how to cool the room. I think that’s why some of my plants are stunted. When I’m only running one tent the temp is 83 degrees.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? I could really use some help

Man that sucks. With no way to get the hot air out you may be stuck with a small grow. There's no ventilation you could tap into huh? Like event said maybe someone will have an idea. Maybe some pics would help?

Thanks guy, yea I’ll be at the space in a few hours and I’ll take pics. There is a small vent but it’s close to the door and It’s higher up then the window. So I think I’ll have the same problem. I’ll take a bunch of photos and sent post them

Veg: Tropic moon, obiwan og, platinum og, cookie glue, Jawa Pie, & purple cross.

Flower: Jawa Pie

Could put a booster fan to push/suck the hot air better, not sure how you would get it to turn on/off with the a/c though. Is the a/c controlled by an environmental controller or is it just plugged in by itself?

Something like this..

That’s the kind of fan I hav in the veg tent hooked up to a characoal filter it serves as a scrubber and bent for hot air, but it just vents hot air into the space itself and heats up the whole room which in turn makes the tents out as well

But I’m saying put that on the back of the a/c to help bring the hot air from the back of the a/c out of the room. Do you have a single or dual hose a/c?

Cause your sayin the fan on the back of the a/c is not strong enough to push the hot air as high as you need it pushed right? That’s what I got from your previous post at least..

@Farmer P @Wisher619 @EventHorizan here’s some pics of the space, the tent on the left is flower, one on the right is veg. The “window” was a sheet of glass which I replaced with plexiglass and cut a 6in hole to vent out the heat from the a/c which you can see next to the veg tent. Not working cause the 8ft wall is too high and the exhaust on the unit isn’t strong enough to pull the hot air up 8ft. So it just over heats the ducting and then the hot air falls back down and the a/c compressor shuts off and it blows hot air. The pic with the white vent is a vent that blows in either hot/cold air from the central air unit in the building which I have no control over. But that vent is even higher up on the wall then the window so I’m assuming the same thing will happen if I try and run a Y ducting attachment to that vent. I’m thinking about building a shelf next to the window and putting the a/c up there so it’s right next to the hole. That would be a lot of work and risky as finding the beams, building a frame and then hoping it supports the weight of the a/c unit, which is super heavy for at 8000 btu. So any ideas ?? Lol it sucks cause I signed a year lease cause I wanted a space to grow and keep it stealthily.

Yea I was thinking about doing that, but I don’t think it’s strong enough that fan. I think I would need a 6” or something with more hp. You know of any?
