There is no ancient Egyptian unit of measurement for humidity. That would make it tough to put it in texts.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Egyptian_units_of_measurement

Far as I can tell, fine measurement of humidity began in civilization somewhere in the late 1800s to early 1900s. That doesn't mean man didn't understand in principle that moisture was in the air etc., etc.--but measurement and standardisation came around in the early 20th century.

and I have some random kush in my oldest jar.

My herb gets quite invigorated after about 6 or 8 months in the jar,
one or two years is great--
I've had 3 year vintages that were real good too...

<Squiggy!!!...

How bout some references for all this new and wonderful information;
you apparently know things that nobody else knows--
spread the knowledge...

i have read a few of his posts... not sure what is going on there, but storing your weed in a humidor at 70% rh? wtf

...........they didn't measure rh.......ceramic pots and clay pots naturaly maintain a given rh......hahahaha ...but again it obviously would take a chemistry undergrad to figure that out LOL common maiden........i think you might smoke to much "fresh" herb sometimes

wierd.

who thinks that ceramic pots can impart humidity for a thousand years in a desert? please explain the process.

smokes too much? makes me wonder if you smoke at all...

something is not right.

Probably one of those things that "sounded good at the time"--
and gets passed around...

ive never been one to keep my bud jarred long enough to see a true cure, until my last batch , jarred and cured for 160 days. the taste, and smell is unbelievable. the ash is so clean, almost white. i know its hard to do it, but i would suggest it 100%!
Below are a few pics of my Mendo Punch from Honest Genetics and some Tangbreath from Thugpug Genetics at 160 days

In our “Family”, more than one of us store our precious weed in Ball/Kerr jars in all sizes with the large mouth and use our Seal-a-Meal jar attachment to suck the air of the jar. THEN we store them in the freezer. Our grow season sucked last year and I was tired of my almost done weed from last year. A Family member gave me 2 two quart jars with 2018 Northern Lights and Purple Hindu Kush(Jeager). The PHK was still pretty good and still green. The NL was purple and green.

Yup, miss Seamaiden especially.
I still have some 2016 bud that was carefully preserved in mason jars, in boxes.
The 2016 bud just doesn’t have any fresh taste at all, Good for making edibles, perhaps.
I have some 2017 that is fresher burning but still a big difference between it and 2019 bud.
Now I try and make certain to smoke or gift bud within 18 months.

Found this in the box with my trim bins... These buds are older than this thread!
I was given this cut in 2012, and only ran it once... Because I hated everything about it.
I believe it was called Blueberry Moon Pie.
