Plant seems relatively healthy otherwise, maybe a bit nitrogen deficient. I just threw them outside to see what they would do. More pics

What are you feeding? How much?

If you think it's N def, fish emulsion is good for the soil.

The first picture, the leaves closest to the camera (at the bottom of the pictue) look kind of glossy, buckled and blistered? That makes me think overfeeding, which could cause lockout and n-def. The other leaves don't look like that, however.

The new growth, I see some dark spots (in the last two photos). Is that shadows, or dark spots?

They are in 5 gal pots and promix, I just threw them outside for shits and giggles. I am doing nothing to them, no nutes or anything. I have a tub that collects rainwater, on the greenish side from algae. If I gets a bit dry I will water them with that.

I would carefully cut out all of the bad portion, sterilize the scissors and stop using water that has algae andhope for the best.

Look in the thread titled Dark purple disease taking over new growth. They talk about the same issue. One has to believe it’s morning moisture collecting in the new growth, and when the sun hits it, it burns the leaves.👍 that’s what I gathered. Best bet. But could be something else

It’s promix HP, the only nutrients it’s getting is from a 50gal feeder bucket that collects water and full of algae

It's hard to believe a plant could grow that much in Pro-Mix HP (soilless without any nutrients. Barely enough for the first week or two.). If you decide to start feeding it, I'd use GH Flora 3-part. That works good with soilless (I've grown with it and HP). If you do that, talk to me. It's easy to go to strong with that stuff.

I have two others that I put in the ground too. They are showing same signs. I asked a buddy and he said it was due to a phosphorus deficiency.
