unless the bottle says otherwise, I'm still fine tuning when to add my booster du jour, but i wait til outta transition and into hardcore, to add boosters. course i tip toe, around with that stuff, rotating pots, changing tanks n putting in new clones, with- whatever i must (also y the 400ppm lows, so often), really. stage n basic structure plays more of a role, for me, but easy on the boost, like many feed bottle instructions- "less", is often, more/enough...

I think I’m done with marijuana specific ferts! I’m going back to basic gardening days in my back yard! Lol
If I do anything g it will be a single entire cycle mixture.

ATA boy!!! I would suggest dry ferts also much cheaper and work well. I mean almost all ferts will work well it just the learning curve of each one. There is no magic in a bottle or bag for that matter.

While we on the topic of nutrients personally I would lean towards more organics where possible and approach it as feeding soil not the plants.... But going that route can be very challenging when learning. I just feel the diversity of microbes makes a huge difference in plant health quality if done right. I don't feel salt based is chemical or leaves a chemical taste I think that's bs but I do feel the diversity of microbes play a role in changing the terpene and flavonoids.... Most say for the better.

Doesnt anyone read any books before taking on a new hobby? How many mistakes can one make? Guess every one with no knowledge.

You know we cant turn that around. These help threads are getting worse all the time. You would think with “legal weed” people would have the info they need. They do. They just dont read anymore.

Sorry rant over. I dont want to be directed to help threads anymore. I have been trying to help someone for weeks and only now i find out that the source water is like .6 ec.

I have always said this and avoided them for years while learning myself. The forums are a bad place for a beginner. Books are where they belong.

I agree with you... Current culture has made everything to easy and several don't even try to learn the basics. I remember as a kid doing homework and would ask my mom what a word means or how to spell it... Her immediate response everytime was go look it up and point to the dictionary and encyclopedias.

Now Google and your done you get your answer and lose out on the rest of the info. And a lot of time it's the wrong answer. Books are a far more reliable source of info but takes work and time to read... Not consistent with how most seek info in today's time.

Yup. I looked to the encyclopedia Britannica any time i wanted to know anything. In addition to the dictionary and thesaurus.

Now i just search. But i only go with very reputable info.

Even when i see a problem in a thread. I do a search and find the answer right away usually.

I have learned to read and process info very quickly. Thats from book learning.

My computer phd having genius iq mother used to tell me. School as a kid was really to teach us how to learn so we could further our education. I really get what she meant now.

You know I feel the same way i find info in studies, research papers etc etc. Reputable sources are important. Then you need to take and put the pieces from several different sources to fully understand. That where all the weed info sites all over misinterpret information. Also how a lot of idiotic myths start. I learn everyday but feel you have to know the basics in order to tell the difference between BS and truth because this world is full of bullshit. I'm no expert and make a good amount of mistakes and misinterpret my share of info. But that's also an important part of learning.

i agree with all of the above my current "collection" of many times read over- books, r on loan, along with about 2k in gear i wasn't comfy advertising to unload (storage that doesn't pay the 'rent', is less than worthless...). ummm... i agree, 100%.
i used to put the bible, the new, basically bible... Ed's taffy cover, book, a book, laoded with pics about cannabis, diagnostics/issues... another about the limiting factors, of whatever and yes, it's a bummer, to c a first time grower, askin for our/your hard learned and expensively learned, knowledge... but wat if mosh, is the guy who comes up with the next cure for whatever and the only thing, holding him back, is 10 seasons of knowledge u and i now, take for granted, NOW? something as simple to u, as reminding mosh, it's Saturday.
mosh is on what? his second grow? his attitude and ability to weigh, conflicting advice and hiz friggin instincts... tolerance, patience and openness to advice n new ideas... he's already one of the best growers, i know. I'm not talkin bout his bporn. I'm talkin bout the whole shingamabing and his potential. and YOU, SIR, helped him get there.

all i can say is- 3mo ago, i weighed significantly more... was horizontal, 22hrs a day, +... and if mr Simpson, hadn't been who he is and WHO YOU, SIR, have already shown urself to b... ur here, aren't u?... givin moshmeister, advice? great advice...
i just couldn't b the "richard jr", who had a miracle happen to him and said, NOTHING. and even though u and i tend to b at odds- i wouldn't wish u to leave. i think your knowledge base and experience is sound... i think ur heart, is in the right place... EVERYONE gets rubbed wrong, from time to time. and EVERYONE, has bad days. i hope u stay. i see u helping people. it is frustrating and not just for u.

of course, common sense tells us, first questions should b, what's your motivation? 2. how much u got in the bank? 3. don't kid yourself 4. ph, rh, temp, ppm? distance to lights? medium? etc...

i think diesel, uses a form letter, to ameliorate his aggravation and we should all, copy it... i forgot to...

i just hate to see u go silent and pray, it's a rough day, ONLY and that we see each other, again.

i just feel the need to pay things fwd, to my own, financial devastation. i would not b here, tomorrow, if i hadn't been struck by lightning, rso, oil and people, like u, mosh, aqua and mosh's following... so... um there's my rant, u knew, was comin, sir.

p.s. i am friends with every person who could solve all my sheetrock n roof problems, snappin their fingers.

I'm not a taker... aqua, knows things, that can help me and for him... if n when he has the time- i do capitalize, on hiz/her, good will. i figure he knows I've put in the seasons... I'm in experimental mode (EVER SINCE MY 2ND, FLAWLESS SEASON, WITH ROOKIE, NUTES) & i feel to ask intel, for problems i bring on myself: inappropriate and I WILL, FIGURE THEM OUT... but stuff that i either just forgot/rookie, questions, or intel i know he he'd have... that i also have... that i just never thought to use, that way.

mosh, thinks this way, too. it's my opinion, if he hasn't, already- he'll surpass me, my stubbornness, social inequities... etc... in now time and i figure a mind like his, will b and is already- on the experimental track. i admire these qualities...

so- again- i don't think this is ur normal style and the fact my b.s., hasn't chased u off- confirms that you're just havin a rough day n hopefully, tomorrow, will b better. i hope I'm right! varying opinions, are a positive thing, imho...

jezuz, med... i went to credit appropriate name... yep- it's a guy, havin a rough day.
med's here to help. I've spoken to him, privately, b4... i think!

oh and the roof cave in- ya'll know, having contractors in, is an exposure to theft, if nothing else (yes, I've been robbed, while i grew, in cali and no- i honestly didn't sell- cheap place, rough hood.).
ummm... so larry the roofer, is a new, vet... friend. i met him, by hiring him. i now, live in a place, where labor, is about 15%, cali rates... truly. he charged $50. i was ready for and expected, $500 (my insurance, deductible). so- i tipped $30, feeling grateful. next time... no charge... i tipped $50 cause his time n as seen on tv, adhesive, ain't free. he's significantly, my senior... i spent $400, last month, achieving "friend" status; not- acquaintance... I'd have spent, infinitely more, for this good man and vet, to count me as friend.
ptsd steve- knows n does it all... he's a good man/vet, i admire, greatly. i just met he and his lovely, a month ago. i can't n wouldn't, ask these peeps, for anything. matter of fact, I'm not allowed back at ptsd Steve's, because i kicked him out of our house, for grabbing a broom, for the pool area. i would not have a man, who already volunteered, to risk his life, for strangers/a country... stoop, to sully himself, with dustpan work, my southern lover, can and will do (we men r logical: if wind is blowing and weather, approaches... prolly not the best time, to sweep. that's just me. I'm stubborn... he's stubborn. he already advise me on my breakers and who big a hole to carve in the ceiling, sheetrock. i submit he's been more than helpful, as it took him 30yrs, to learn his crafts. he disagrees, apparently. i dunno- he won't leave, over ptsd and i won't do more than text (he doesn't) cause the phone, still freaks me. all I'm sayin is, in my further rant... iz he's upset cause the lovely g, incorrectly believes a tiny, vent, will cave the roof and PTSD steve, said he could have it done, in hrs...
I'm rehabbing my body. it's high time, i learned drywall. not my first, or last, property. i have a new, opioid gift, called phobias... i don't do heights, anymore. no, it's not logical, to me, either. i cut out, where ptsd steve pointed. larry the roofer (who is old enough to die, on his next job)- won't refer me out... i know he won't charge what he's worth. i disapprove of friends n money... i didn't realize i wasn't training, above my head, physically. I've done what i can. i want to watch n learn... but i must hire out, the rest and I'm rebuilding larry the roofer's quad and he let's me Guinea pig, some stuff. i have nothing else, to offer the man... and feel a bit... nm. anyway- I'm just sayin- eventually, everybody, exudes who they r.
if some some day, aqua, or anyone said, "figure it out", i would have no problem with aqua.

i did start on similar sites, to b of service, but i swear, i end up leaving, feeling like i receive, more than i have, to offer. i dunno.
lost. all i got, mentally.
just hate to see med, bummed/or anyone.

I wasnt talking about Mosh. He has shown knowledge and dedication. I love helping growers like that. Thats how we all were.

But the grow you linked just from the paragraph shown here is not knowledgeable or dedicated sounding. More frustrated with no knowledge.

And yeah. You are a good man. I expected your response. :-)

Your mother was intelligent woman. When I hire someone and they have a 4-year degree I don’t hire them because of the particular major. I hire because I know they are cable of learning and not afraid of commitment!
Having worked with people you know what a challenge they can be ! Lol

But seriously I’ve read a couple books and searched the internet for hours ! Grown outdoors in farm soil for 15 years ! But indoors is so much different. I’m thankful I found you guys ! For sure!

As everyone knows I’m sticking to easy indoor strains but I have a northern lite ladie that had just been difficult from day one! I think maybe I had some bone meal not get mixed proper or something ? As she has had nitrogen toxicity since she was born. Honestly surprised she is still alive. Man has a ton of bud sights ! Curious if she will finish ! Every time I run out of room I think about throwing her outside! Lol
