Already have a cat and a dog. I don't allow the cat in the room. I guess it's time to let her in from time to time. It's winter here in Pennsylvania so the rodents start coming inside and I do live in the country. I'll try that and see what happens.
Well now that is a little more complicated because dogs and cats that go Outdoors can bring in bugs like mites (I'm pretty sure that's how I got mites in the 90s) so that changes that, you might want to keep them out and just set mouse traps?

My cat averages averages one Mouse every 1.5 years lol 🐀

Never even thought about a mouse taking a few nibbles here and there. Makes perfect sense too. Wonder if it choose the Skunk for a reason or just wrong place right time.

Well not saying it is for sure but there's only so many things in doors that are able to take a chomp that size? and I've seen it before so Occam's razor and all that..?

Yea I've checked high and low for any crickets , grasshoppers or anything caught on my sticky traps that might do it. I've looked all over the plants too. I got Neem Oil making its way to me so I'm gonna hit her with a few applications when I get it.

Not a fan of the neem even though I used it last weekend, as it was all I had on hand; it won't stop whatever is biting that plant, neem in my opinion does very little & I've seen some recent reports that it has some possible negative health warnings attached to it too?

I wasn't kidding about the cat or the mouse trap, I suspect there's a good possibility that's what the issue is, seen it more than once on posting boards particularly this time of year, & if the cat can't get in that room that would make it all the more attractive for a 🐀, good luck!

Neem and a few others are designed to keep pest from dining on your plant , insects , it’s not an actual pesticide that kills bugs it makes it so the are not able to eat and they move along or die from starvation . Will do nuthing for the mice !
MOTH balls like the us old timers used outdoors will work for ya just DONT sayer em In

I'm just gonna hold off on the neem oil when I get it. Going to put traps in the closet and raise them off the ground too. Hopefully that should be enough. Also calling for a snowstorm today for us so everything is looking for cover too.

Hoping lifting them up and traps work. If he's there....I'll get em. If my cat don't first.

Neem oil is systemic also Meaning it will actually become part of the plants defense over time. It stays in the plant. But people claim they can taste neem. And others say the way its derived make it not organic must be cold pressed to be organic blah blah.
But around the area its ok.

I use essential oils for my ipm. Sticky traps as early warnings of attack but the ipm very rarely fails. Check that out n youll need no more. The oils between a basic set will deter everything from bugs to deer rabbit mouse
chit the right ones n you wont wanna be there either. I use combo of mint oils and orange oil. Actually smells nice n cleanlike. But only as ipm. Not on plants.

So I got Blue Cookies going for this Solo cup grow. I have another Blue Cookies I started a few weeks ago. Different phenotypes too. Can't wait to see what they bring. Possibly might take a clone or two off the strongest one of the two.
