Snapped a lights out pic with the flash. The poor lady front and center did not like the overfeeding, she's gone dark on me lol. Everything else came back around ok and buds are starting to form. A few minor issues in the room but nothing major.
Theyve really grown quite a bit in the past week, it's very noticeable since I pruned so hard.. a week ago i only had one node on the top of each branch. Now there is half a dozen or more with some secondary branching happening. I've got to admit I was hesitant to prune this heavy, but I trust the dude who pointed me toward the method. Time will tell, but I'm already surprised how many bud sites I've got with another week and a half of stretch left.

Quick check in.
Forbidden Zkittlez, week of flower im unsure of but I think around week 5. Smell is unreal. Plant is small and a real slow grower, but beautiful look and smell, very intense orange zest coming off this one.

Dragon cheese (Bhodi Blue lotus x breeders boutique cheese surprise) Same timeframe, about week 5? This one is a very productive and fast growing plant. Smell so far is skunky cheese with a little blueberry. Reminds me of Barneys farm Blue Cheese almost with more cheese than berries.

And the room in week 2. Lookin alright.

Some lights out pics. Tough dialing in the feed when you're having ppm pen problems. Turns out I had a bit of a crust forming on my leeds, I couldnt figure out why the plants were getting tip burn at 1.5 ec. They were preferring 1.2... Turns out my meter just needed a deep clean lol. Ahh, it's always something.. lol

More advanced flowering plants are all a little small as they spent the first 3 weeks of flower under T5's.

Potted up the seed plant moms. I'm really, really liking the rockwool crutons. I think price be damned, I'll be using them for the next grow in the spring.

Also noticed some of the plants in the room were yellowing a bit, mainly the violator. Checked runoff and it was spiked up to 3 ec! All the other plants are holding steady around 1.6-1.8, so looks like shes a really light feeder.

Rinsed them back down to 1.5... see how the do today.

pot snob... that's dedication!
just saw ur last 2. came by to say, "good morning!" & ur ladies look fantastic, as usual.

oooo! i killed some pre... in 2015. i can't wait to c what i missed and go to confession...

Ahh the pre-98 is one of my favs when it turns out, but shes a really fussy bitch. I can only seem to make it turn out how I want it once every few grows. The slightest bit of overfeeding or stress of any kind causes the buds to underdevelop. But I've kept her around since I built the shed because when it's right, its second to none.

When she turns out right it looks like this.

i bought some violater seeds recently and have been second guessing the purchase. new grower i am, and read the bottom branches need supporting. i was thinking theres probably a better strain to ease into. i want the high 22% thc though and high CBD mahahaaahaaaa

Violator or violator kush? Ive seen both around, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be the same or not, who knows.. Violator kush is a moderate difficulty to grow for sure. Its finnicky, but all the strong kushes seem to be in my experience. They're all fussy eaters and many of them naturally exhibit purple pinstriping and petioles which can lead inexperienced (with kush varieties) growers to suspect phosphorus deficiency and overcorrect by adding more nutrients, when it actually likes very low feed rates.. Bubba kush is the same, though it does eat a bit more than violator. The VK cut I have has tested as high as 26% grown by the guy I got it from, CBD I'm not sure of.

And ALL the branches need support for sure. It stretches like crazy and the buds while small, are extremely resinous and heavy.

Orange pic time!

Garden is looking nice after yesterdays rinse, they're greening up quickly. I've had to adjust the flow volume per irrigation cycle to get a bit more runoff. It's the only way I can feed all the different strains without one getting buildup I think.

Forbidden zkittles is probably the most amazing strain I've ever smelled. It honestly smells fake, or artificially enhanced like it's been sprayed with something. For real. It's a shame because it a tiny plant and grows really slow. Not viable at scale at all, but I'm probably going to keep it and run one in the room for sure. It smells like a candy orange creamsicle, and the level of aroma is off the charts. It's very terp heavy.

Platinum cookies is really starting to stack now. This plant is so productive it blows me away every time I grow it.
