I liked the results I got from my micro so much. I like 2700k. But if I cant get it, 3000k will do. I may try to supplement a bit of red, but not too much. 3000k is looking good on the gelato right now.

I was gonna get ones with reds on them buy the old style never had them but it was big c that baswaded me can't spell that lol,,.


I though higher the k better it was for veg,,

Veg 4+ and flower 3000k 3500k max
Not 100% not looked into it deeply but that what i worked out just browsing at these lights and few forums on here like big/c

Like that is it geleto lol, I'm on my 3ed seed of geleto because the keep Turing funny on me like half male, on my 3ed seed now only ibw plant its in this room with the lights I just put up , and its better than first 3 seeds but still looks bit funny growing and other 3 plants are pineapple chunk,, iv never grown geleto before sounded nice bud but all fucked up for me must be bad batch of seeds

Yeah, more red would be for flower. Blue for veg. Keep in mind though: the actual difference in growth is, the light that is more blue will cause the plants to grow taller with longer node spacing. The light with more red will cause the plant to have more dense foliage and closer node spacing.

The actual effect isnt that drastic but noticeable. Some people like to veg under more blue light cause the plant grows taller faster.

I prefer shorter node spacing and more dense foliage. Specially being in a tent where room is an issue. But that's just me.

I wouldn't suggest getting the red or uv lights one quantum board though. Their output is something like a quarter of the lm301 watt per watt, and they apparently burn out a lot faster.

I would prefer to supplement the light with separate red/ir and or blue/uv

Yeah, I cracked 2, both were fine. They are supposed to be a picky strain but I've not had any trouble.

So my one is not good for flower lol 3000k white

You can just add some supplemental red boards (cheap) and not replace your 3000k light. I have flowered with a 3000k HLG 288 V1 without any additional red and all was good.

I don't think you are understanding lol.



Anywhere from 2000k to like 7000k will both flower and veg your plant just fine.

Light that is more red (lower in the Kelvin scale) is more suited to flower because they promote dense growth with tight node spacing and more foliage.

Light that is more blue (higher in the kelvin scale) is more suited to veg (for some people) because it promotes faster vertical growth, further node spacing with less foliage.
