About to buy a LED ligth please help

These light don't five.of no where neat as.much.heay as.HP's.do.they?

Nowhere near as much heat. You can touch any part of it and not burn yourself.
They put out heat but nothing compared to a HPS or MH. Also the heat is from the heatsink, not so much from the light. So all the heat is up top close to your exhaust. In my tent the difference between Inside and outside of the tent is 2c. I'll be putting another one in soon, but dont think I'll add more than 1 or 2 more c.

About 3 mm with 7 mm fins.
Its solid. I wasn't kidding when I said you could stand on it

damn 10mm. That’s legit! I may have to add some fins, I know they make em...gotta do some testing but low on space atm

At the moment I have 2 T5 tube lights in my veg tent covering 1.5metre by half a meters area well roughly that area
Each light has 2 tubes 24watt a tube, so goal Watt is 80 , that the same as these leds in the links above

What you guys think would it be better results with that in the link to replace ,my 2 t5's

I had 15mm heat sink instead of the 10mm

Just got one up now in extending the wire from the light to the box/driver

God their bright think my old 600 HP's bulbs need changing, they look yellow now compared to these led's

Before with 600 watt HP's

Then after with just 1 led up so far but already brighter

The lead from the driver to the board is short because the driver is meant to be mounted on the heatsink.

If you extend those wires, be sure to use a thick gauge wire. I just mount mine on top of the heatsink, works out well.

Hi everyone, I'm about to buy a led light to replace my 600watt HPS light

I have had my eyes on a certain light on eBay for last year or so by kelvin range I know lost will know what in on a out.

Anyway I remember some one posted a link for the same lights much cheaper from.China think it was Aquar man my hero lol that posted it few months back
I will be buying this in the link below in a few days

U see to options 1 is 3000k. And other is 3500k not sure if it has any reds.in it as its aids flower so iv Read..

Any ideas what one I need, it's for flowering room but ideally it can do veg and flower as most them do but want make sure what what before I buy.. 2 if then I'll be getting 240 watt eatch son total be 480 these 2 are to replace my 600 wat HPS in a 1.2 metres tent

Also I know Samsung chips in these boards ate popular but LG just as good ain't they or is that not even the make of these chips lol.. The lead is just a about long enough, I set it up and didn't like the drive on top of the light, only reason is that it get dam bloody hot that driver box does.
Honestly I think I could cook a egg in it

I just extended the wire between the light and the driver so now the driver is out side the tent, its all wired and though I'd ask here quick just before in actually turn it on lol, Iv used house electrical wire for wiring house sockets up, you think this may be to thick fits in the connector nice
It's a good 1.5 metre long the extended wire i added, I'm worried this length might cause problems? Like the drive to work harder or something over heating?
