no difrent than that ph pen,a tds meter is telling you how much food your feeding the plant,i have a schedule if you want it,but it has a feed program for all stages of growth ,with the meter you can dial in what is being added, you have always heard folk tell others ,dont go by manufacture recomendation and there feed schedule always go half or a quarter strength ? well even doing that with a tds meter you will see how far off it can be .
seedling /clone
early veg
full veg
early bloom
full bloom
each of these stages have a ec recomendation and when you feed to those numbers you have a lot less problems,JUST MY OPINION
Just screen-shotted that bad boy. Thanks!

thats right, ive used it and like it,but you still need to get you a tds meter, what was your ph at start before you feed today,6.2 to 6.5 is a real good spot for pro mix,and i wouldnt go past 1/4 strength with the trio until you get a tds meter, and dont fall for all the bullshit they have on the web site feed schedule, that trio right there will finish a grow all by itself, all the other stuff is just crap
I'm going to look for one today. I don't want to wait for Amazon. I have to go back to Home Depot anyway. I think they have them.

this is why you need a journal ,put it there and you always have a document, plus you remember what and when you did something, now me i need it for remembering when to feed my plants hahahahah
I have the tempos and rh levels taped up in my grow room, haahaa. I've been using Jane to keep track of everything except watering. I come down and check them and the temp and rh every day. I gotta get this ph issue taken care of. I didn't recalibrate it after I replaced the batteries. Rookie mistake # 56.

I suggest investing the money in a good 1. I bought 1 off Amazon for 20 bucks didn't work properly was a piece of shit. I went to my local hydroponic store and spent 75 on the 1 I have now and it works amazing

I recommend this one instead of that other one, I've had that one and I threw it out within a week or so it wasn't very good

Yeah, the batteries died after about a week and cost more to replace than the whole pen did. I can see, and agree with, paying more for something that is going to last and be more accurate.
