From every grow I see coco is more work, water and nutes for less weed than i get now.

I am unsold on coco. Sorry.

Seems to me if you want hydro grow in water not wisk brooms. :-)

Lol ok man. I'm taking a strong opposite stance to that. Promix was 2x the work for 2/3 the yield, and I used promix for well over 15 years. Coco is easy as hell.

Also, how can you be unsold on something you've never tried?

Its too much watering and i avoid hydro so i dont need pumps, lines and a resiviour.

And im not sure about the pro mix and dyna grow either.

I already miss the ocean forest and a simple shot of pure blend pro.

And i dont think i will yield more than a half pound plant in a 3 gallon bucket regardless of medium. Thats the benchmark i am striving to repeat.

But i was being a bit facetious bud. Sorry about that. Your grow was perfect. And i have been struggling. I am excited to hear the yield. And if it is different than the peat mix in quality.

I might try an organic dry fert mixed in up front or even osmocote and water only.

I want less work man. My back is going to remain a problem.

I think it sucks because you do perpetual and it's too complicated to automate that, but an irrigation system saves so much work, it's crazy. So worth it. Whether you grow hydro, coco, peat, doesnt matter. Automated watering is huge.

That's how this grow made me feel. Watering is slow af in soil. Hydro drop it in and walk away. But the testing everyday takes time. At first it was great... Now I see how much nutrients I have to mix to water these. Not fun but it is a lot more plants.

Lots of power outages here. I need a generator too to be safe.

And i would have to monocrop. To get the yield and quality i feed and water every plant individually. Never grouped together.

Sorry to interupt the regularly scheduled program but @Dirtbag check out the response from pro mix posted on my thread. Settles what we were discussing about the ec.

That's what I thought, but I ran 5 strains and by replenishing the coco so frequently, they all grew well. I could never say that trying to grow 5 strains in peat.

I love the old soil vs coco vs hydro etc. debate lol, the biggest factor is how well the grow knows how to grow in the medium their using. Maybe next round I 'll have nerve to do journal , and then we'll see how many people still think coco is faster them my soil. all I'm saying is I have my soil dialed in and know how to grow in it. I think my plants went in my room after aqua's , their 4 feet and I can't get my arms around them, they went into veg today. Please don't take that the wrong way aqua , I've been growing in soil for a while and have it dialed in , my point is I think that goes for whatever the grower is growing in.

Oh hell yeah I believe it. Topped mine 2 times so the squat and pulled most nodes off side branches. Definitely rootbound.

Yeah I topped once, I've been busy and they actually got a little bigger then when what I wanted for summer indoor, once my clones got a few inches of roots they go in to 1g pots, once the clones start to take off and grow they go right to 4g pots I don't let my plants get rootbound at all in the 1g pots it slows my grow way down, in fact I like to put my clones right in my 4g pots, but I understand your sexing yours and stuff

Yeah I think the rootbound has been my most significant set back

For me 4 weeks soil vs 4 weeks hydro. Both were topped. 4 plants vs 16 plants 😞

I really can't see 4 weeks in soil doing that but hey maybe it's possible.

In the hydro pic , the plants look to be about 3 feet high in 4 weeks, how big is the room? guarantee you I can pace that in 4 weeks, seeing is believing

Its CH9 Female Seeds

I had a link to it on his old website but its gone.

I may have it copied to my old laptop. When i have time i will look. If it still works. Lol. Its a 2010 dell.
[/QUOT
Haaa, just had my brother repair my old 2010 dell for 80 bucks
Then I said to myself , wtf did I do that for ? But now I'm happy I did...

Yes please try and find the article for me , cool ....

And another thing that's very cool here , obviously we all know a thing or two , or combined maybe a hell of a lot more
And we all do things differently and defend our style firmly, but never seem to get into that stupid pissing match, like it seems like one of us could explode and start arguing shit , but instead , just make our statement and cut it , then I see everyone just leaving a thumbs up instead of a finger for the other members

I got into a few dumb debates here and found some members getting personal and challenging , aggressive for no reason..... But the way you guys discuss is much cooler , good for us...

I put my plants in my room just after the first of this month, I don't know the exact date , but we're only on the 22nd, I can take a pic of my plants and show their size but I can prove the date they went in. next round

No disrespect but it's hard to comprehend. That's 4 weeks from this. Maybe we count veg different?
