I should have expected and had a better defense. Pretty sad I have to use someone else’s property out in the country and give away half my flower just to be able to grow some.

Make it worth it when you do your next one. If youre giving away half, then both party should put in half half. You work and grow the plants and he helps when you need him. Plan it out good, and first rule of growing weed don't talk about growing weed lol
Use the forums people get jealous and will try to rip you off.

Here update on what's still here. Skunk #1 the big plant is maybe 4 weeks really packing in weight now.

The baby one is actually a clone from my blueberry and she's done lol

Got an ethos mandarine cookies packing weight and another blueberry clone, had 2 one hermed on me so it went into the compost bin

That flower is in peak growth. Only a few pistils have turned brown. No where near harvest time.

When most of the pink pistils die back then its time to start checking trichomes on the calyx for cloudiness.

Lovely flower by the way. :-)
Yes, I know. I said “supposed to be done”

5 I planted to squish, but a heat wave came and I gave up on them. Shocked they were still alive. Only watered once and never fertilized. Little 3’ers. Wookie

Next year will be autos and I’ll gonna have motion lights, sensors and cameras. I think they’ll be back to break into my garage so we’ll see. I really hope they do. Talking bout getting shanked prison style.

That's the direction I would go also, finish early and in a predetermined time frame of your own choosing, they won't be looking then, trust me. These kinds only do this kind of shit during end season, because there incapable of building the resources, talent, time and energy of doing it themselves. Always looking for the "easy score" then back to their miserable existence that drives them to do these things.

If you need some auto's I've got thousands of them, (several different varieties) and I'll help you out free of charge.

Yeah that happened to me one year. Now I have outdoor motion sensors all over my yard that can tell the difference between a person or animal. Not one foot can ever step into any section of my yard without triggering the alarms 🚨
My wife is a naval officer so I also have legal handguns with plenty of ammunition.

Not advised, don't go to prison or murder someone over this pant please, it's simply not worth it. BTW, I was a navy aviation ordnanceman.

Dammed rippers grrrrrr! I it seems like once they know about backyard grows they come back every year. My buddy down around Hamilton has to defend his grow every year it’s insane he’s had drones flying around his garden as well it sooo sucks now that it’s legal to grow up here in Canada makes it easy for rippers to find your gals. Karma’s a bitch

This is the way to go, Yes, I've got both (FLIR) high resolutions and magnifcation thermal imaging devices, 3 Gen night vision equiptment, several differet types of drones and various surveillance and detection equipment. (BIG) bottles of (liquid fire) high end pepper sprays that will shoot 30 feet on multiple targets, High quality Tazers if you feel the need, but don't kill anyone. Call the police, if needed, for backup.

Lazer sensors, motion detectors, there's probably a sticky thread on this subject, I do believe. That little scope I'm holding is awesome. It's military grade. (cannot be exported from United States) Nothing can hide from it, day or night, even behind bushes or trees, fog, or smoke.

The better drones have object avoidance and sensors, do your research and consider your uses (that's why I have several, actually)

Sorry to hear this has happened to you, but don't be too hard on yourself, or become defeated, (or too enraged) Don't let it define you.

They actually offered to invest so we’re good there. And yeah I don’t really talk to anyone as I don’t trust anyone. This was random. They got in the neighbors shed first then was walking to my garage and that caught their sight or smell and they hit the jackpot and left my garage alone.

Thanks for the advice, it’s appreciated. The auto is my only bet I’m thinking now as they will know to come back as already said but I will build defenses. This was a lesson. I’m gonna start indoor now as a main source probably. That was the nail in the coffin. And I really appreciate that offer and would love that to be able to get a feel for them. I’d pay shipping for sure.

They got worked up and took that mask off and gloves. Plus left behind the head of a ballpin hammer that I imagine they were using to break into peoples stuff. They got lucky, I got unlucky. They probably gonna be smelling hay here soon.
I did collect the evidence and cleaned up all the pot leaves. I’m thinking of calling the cops in the morning to report it and just tell the cops they stole exotic tropical plants out my garden. Cause I guess there’s been a string of bring ins and thefts lately. Cops have been prowling. I was getting nervous thinking they smelled my pot lol

I'm assuming your in Cali or Oregon, so if that's the case, I wouldn't have a problem telling them, as long as they don't look like idiots. It's useful to them, and hey, maybe they can get your plants back... LOL You might even be able to make an insurance claim if you got a police report, ie. "rare" exotic plants.

Especially if you've got your supplies cost list or a year or so. "tore up my garden"
Sorry man, it's just the irony here, and it's "semi-legal" status, our legal system is screwed.
In some states they want to prosecute the person growing something, then often simply ignore thefts because it's of "insignificant" consequences to them. A "waste" of resources, especially anything considered "outside" or not in a space where someone is dwelling.

I had $8k worth of theft on my property one time, and the police never even came out there, took the report by phone.

it’s week 4 and I just hit em with 4 tbs per gallon and a half of barley sst and bat shit & molasses tea . 1 teaspoon of bat shit top dress and 4-5 tbs of Gia green power bloom top dress & full strength microbial mass.

here’s a little tip. If you take a bud from the mid section of a plant and nuke it in the microwave at power level 20... just put the bud on a paper towel and nuke it at power level 20 for 30 minutes. It’s good to test smoke your buds. If you don’t get super stoned @ week 4-5 with most strains then your genetics are a waste of time.

so I nuked some and I was super stoned for 7 hours off a 1 gram joint. 7 hours of straight high as a mo fo and I’m a seasoned smoker! 7 hours !
I had a little cola break in the wind before I got every thing anchored down 2 (two) weeks ago. I dried it for three days, ground it up, vaped it, and even smoked it. Got nicely high each time, and I'll probably break some more off, because I loves me some Sour Diesel!

Sadly I’m in Illinois and not a med patient yet so this was a civil offense grow. At most a 200 dollar fine. But I don’t want to voluntarily give myself a 200 dollar fine by telling an officer I was growing pot. That’s why I hesitated to call them and why I cleaned everything up thinking bout calling them. The gloves were latex. They probably have prints. Plus DNA on the mask as I 100% know I made them work for the plants. They ripped off probably 10 jet fuel branches trying to rip them out the pots nextdoor or transplant, whatever they did. Wife and I think a dope head in town did it. She saw him casing houses the other day and I have intel about other odd things besides his behavior when he saw me today. I’ll definitely give an update if I catch them. If they are the dope heads it’ll be game on.

Yea, there idiots there, I've lived in Illinois. Just be careful, and don't do anything you can't live with, sounds like your well grounded there.

Those kinds of idiots usually move from place to place, as they create more chaos.

I love to hunt deer actually, and Illinois has the best whitetail in the world, actually. I've seen 400lb bucks outside my windows there.
I take this with me when I go up to the cascades hunting on my land, or really anytime, because there's bears and big lions up there.

On first snow last year, I had a standoff with a 200lb, 90kg cougar up there, was stalking me. 405 fps, will shoot inside the black at 50-100 yards, never seen anything like this before. This will go clean though a deer at 50 yards.

Here are a doe and fawn outside my window in the Cascades, with my pot plants behind them. The big bucks have been coming at night.

First time grower here in Ontario Canada. This plant in my vegetable garden is so tall! In the photo I an standing on a step stool and still can't reach the top. Loaded with buds. Not ready to harvest but I'm concerned about cooler evening temperatures coming up in the next 2 days. Nightime lows of 4 degrees Celsius.

Give it a good watering at night before you go to bed. I’m also in Ontario and have survived through temp drops to 0°C. Depending on strain, you should be ok right up until the first frost. Whatever you do, do not harvest early like I’ve done before.
