Why on Earth is everything so complicated here on Earth. Water the root & enjoy the💚💚💚💚💚

Im with ya. Honestly I do it to myself.. But im leaning towards shutting it all down for a little while once this crop is done and just focusing on growing my business. Im spreading myself way too thin lately across several hobbies and a new business. @beluga was curious where i get the energy for all my activities, and i suppose the answer is that, i dont actually have the energy for it all. The desire yes, energy, no. As a result they all suffer somewhat, some more than others. The neglect of my grow room is starting to show.

Ill keep a few of these strains alive one way or another, a couple of these are keepers for sure. The wedding crasher is an incredible plant ive been trying to get my hands on for a while now and the smoke from it is just unreal.

It looks like the pbp has managed to put the brakes on the yellowing. I even see a little re-greening.

It aint super pretty considering it still has a couple/few weeks left, but i think itll be alright. Not a total flop lol.

Ok I'm gonna be selfish... your not allowed to take a break.... don't make me start a go fund me for caffeine pills to keep ya goin. It just won't be the same.

Maybe dial back a bit? But no no no you are not allowed to stop and im only speaking out for the betterment of cannabis and this community.

So yeah thats my rant lol.

I'll see. Like I said i have some strains i dont want to lose so ill have at least a couple going. But its becoming clear that I cant multitask as well as I wish I could, or would need to in order to do all this stuff properly. And certain things take priority. Raising kids and running a business are my top priorities, and it doesnt leave a lot of spare time for my other interests at the moment.

But i honestly cant see me packing it in altogether. If anything, i might just have a couple plants going.

Ok ive got a story/rant. Its a bit long so ill try and edit it to be as to the point as i can.

I started a business and gave notice to leave my job a couple months ago with my last day to be march 12th. . I was/am the superintendent at a 9 hole golf club, but I do a lot more than just that. Im the grounds superintendent, crew supervisor responsible for all hiring and training, The ONLY mechanic, the irrigation technician and repair guy, Pesticide/fertilizer applicator, responsible for all budgeting and ordering, its a lot to manage... I wear a lot of hats and do a lot of paperwork. Since 2008 Ive done this job for 40K Cdn per year, +/- 2K.

I agreed to stay on until March so that the new hire would have maintained machines to use and give the club time to find someone to replace me. I ONLY agreed to stay on because ive been here for 12 years, and dont want to burn bridges in a small community, and really didnt want to leave them high and dry.

To add context, 2018-2019 I experienced pretty wicked PTSD as an officer with 10 years on a fire dept, in those last 2 years I attended/was first on scene for the traumatic death of a fellow FF and good friend.. I was the search team leader for a small plane crash into the forest that claimed 3 people, and other traumatic deaths and injuries on FR calls. I was the Duty officer in charge of most of it for several years and it kinda twisted me up. 2019 my Mother died from altzheimers, months later my Father died from cancer and a month after that my pseudo father/work mentor died with both cancer and dementia.
I hit the psychologist for a few visits and put my priorities in order. But i spiralled for a bit for sure. Work took a hit as i realized i was getting screwed, with lame pay an no benefits besides free golf, and i fucking hate golf... So to that, guaranteed my employers have noticed a lack of me giving a fuck about their shit lately lol.

There is only so much they can expect from me. Anyway, I got back from vacation to my shop flooded with water pouring through the foundation, and the 40 year old shingle roof is leaking and covered in moss 6" thick.
It was like that when i started. I've recommended a new roof every year for the last 12 years.. My ceiling is dripping water on the workbench and It stinks in here. It has no heat besides a woodstove.

Check this out. This was when i came in and as i was working its splashing on my tools from the ceiling. I sent my "boss" these pics and said the place is cold and wet... This is bullshit.

Mega health hazards. And definitely shit pay for the responsibility. Your well-being comes first and thankfully, despite everything, you really are moving forward. You’ve had a super shitty few years with loss and tragedy beyond words. March 12 is coming. You decide your value. You’re doing a stellar job at holding your own, DB. Much love, respect, and prayers.

Edit: asking someone if they're having a laugh in some parts of London can get you in trouble 😜
