i love my hyper fans but one has a sticky noisy bearing now and doesnt always turn on the first try. But they are over $200 now here. I paid $135 shipped for them. Not sure what to replace with.
Im not sure either bro..soo many fans out it makes it harder to choose.if they dont list the features, and figures like phresh do i wont even look at them..phresh have nearly the highest cfm per watt on the market.one of the resons why i purchased one..they have a v2 now and a stealth hyper with a silencer, 90 watt draw .thats 20w over the one i have but its a little bigger at 725cfm and 600 bills lol..

Snow, ice and sleet overnight into tomorrow morning........... guess I'm going to miss my 8AM drive thru flu tests. Yes, 2 tests- a rapid test (2-3 hour results) and the regular test with results in 2-3 days. At least I'm not snowed in like my brother in NJ with 15 inches on the ground and another 1-2 inches coming over night.

I continue to get requests for the gummie recipe......I'm getting tired of having to go back and find it. LOL So I'm just going to start posting it in every thread, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.

12-14 oz unrefined coconut oil (big spread in prices, cheap is OK)
2-3 oz of cleaned and crumbled (no stems or seeds) pot, decarbed (dried) in 170 degree oven for 20 minutes or more
1 large box jello, your choice of flavor (not sugar free)- you can also use 2 smaller boxes
1/2 cup water
2 oz gelatin (4 orange packets) (look in the jello section in the supermarket)
sunflower lecithin (1/8-1/4 teaspoon granules or oil squeezed from 3 capsules) (available at GNC, Amazon, etc)
silicone candy molds (available at Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

Double boil the coconut oil and pot for at least 3 hours. Make sure the oil covers the bud. I prefer to use a mix of strains to balance out the high, but it's not necessary. Indica's will lead to a heavy body buzz and sleep, sativa's will lead to a head buzz for an hour or two, then hit the body. Stir often. The resin will melt from the bud and be absorbed by the oil. The oil will turn green. Strain well when done, squeeze out every drop of oil from the mix. Part 1 is over, easy peasy. The hard part is done, now the fun begins.

Part 2- Mix 1/3 cup of the infused coconut oil, the box of jello, 1/2 cup of water and the lecithin in a pot and boil for about 3+ minutes. Then you need to add the gelatin powder but I like to mix a little bit of hot water to it first to make sure it's disolved well. Then add to the boiling jello. Keep stiring throughout the entire process. About 5 minutes is good, don't over boil it, I turn mine down slightly to a low rolling boil.

The key to the whole recipe is cooking the entire mix to a certain point, not under or over cooking. The jello coloring tends to darken and turns a bit more thickened and syrupy. If you over cook it, the gummies will be more like hard candy (not good). If you under cook it, it will end up more like jello and less like gummies. Trial and error but after 2-3 attempts, you become an expert, I promise.

When you think it's done, pour into the molds. Let them sit 10-15 minutes, then place in fridge. They'll turn rubbery, like gummies and stay like that forever if kept in the fridge. Remove from molds, put on a container and enjoy.

What makes this recipe a bit differently is these gummies will hold up well in your pocket for hours and not melt. The balance of the oil can be kept in the fridge for your next batch, or put a teaspoon of hardened oil in a cup of tea, or whatever you come up with- there are countless options to injest it.

Lastly, obviously, the more pot you use, the stronger these will end up. Also, the stronger the pot, the stronger the gummie. Shake is good, buds are better. I always add a warning, these can be very potent. I've had people freak out, pass out, and everything in between. It's a much stronger buzz than smoking......so go slow initially til you become more experienced. Start with a smaller dose, you can always take more. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour for full effects to hit. If you get too buzzed, eat something like as it tends to calm things down. Expect the buzz to last at least 6 hours, sometimes longer. For a stronger buzz, eat one on an empty stomach. For a milder run, have a meal first.

@Aqua Man continues to experiment and revise my recipe. He's more adventurous so you may want to check out his threads on his gummies for updates and such. But I make full runs of about 35-45 gummjies every 3 weeks and could make them in my sleep. Practice makes perfect and if you can boil water, you'll probably have some success with these.

And as always, win a contest, get some gummies to try.

Sweet Zombie Scissor Hash Smoke Report

Howdy folks, contest winner BellumRomanum here, NO BIG DEAL. Again I want to stress that I'm just like all of you except that I wake up and win @sshz contests.

That out of the way I didn't take a video yet but I will. I like underlining things.

The hash! So, I've said it before and I'll say it again - this is possibly the most unique smelling ball of hash I've ever had in my possession. When I first opened the container I thought maybe there was a chemical cleaner or cosmetic cross contamination of some kind. There wasn't. The aroma is sweet, pungent and faintly over-ripe. Like if a corpse breathed their bad breath on you while chewing an Altoid and scrubbing grout. Plus dank.

I sat down in my cold garage to smoke myself into a non-agitated state. This can take a while depending on the contents of my morning and afternoon and I suspect there's a correlation with how much mainstream news media I've consumed in the course of the day as well. The relationship between my stress level and the amount of news I've consumed lately is log rhythmic or at least non linear. Anyhoo

Back to the altoid thing. That's the first taste I get off the top of a heavy bong rip. Altoids and blue cheese with a hint of grass (it is scissor hash after all). Truly delightful taste and nose, grows on you by the minute. One bowl and I was in a comfortable warm and effective place to continue smoking. At this point I'm still mostly tense but feeling better.

Two bowls; I'm hungry. Sweet. Three bowls - daddy needs junk food and video games. I'm in my happy place - and then I woke up :)

One of these days when the kids go to the in-laws I'm gonna do some hash under glass with the rest of this ball. I don't think I'll get very far after that.

Phenomenal job brother, and again thank you for your generosity and everything you share with this community! You're the real MVP @sshz

Well, sounds like another success story.........no doubt it’s my preferred method of smoking. Thanks for posting. If it was me, that hash would have been gone the first day I got it.

Thing is I'm so busy man, and I knew that hash was gonna be special. I wanted to make sure I had a few moments to feel it and taste it and enjoy it cause I coulda gobbled it up and gone back to work but you know...where's the fun in that? Between work commitments, a full time course load finishing my degree while raising two kids and trying to get back to being able to train competitively I savor the moments I get to slow down and enjoy things that are uncommon. Thank you for the experience.

So, Golden Ticket emailed me back. The reason they aren't labeled is because it's a mix of these strains, all reg's which I don't do:

Regs from Ethos

The Vineyard Bx2
Grape Cake x Purple Roze
Grape Cake ~
grape stomper/cherry pie/wedding cake F4
Purple Roze ~
Purple Punch x Roze

I have about 20 of them. Anyone who can make a compelling case why they should receive a 5 pack of them, I'll send them along. Do not post it in the thread, message me and I'll let you know.

Day 12, notice how short they are in the pic. I'm happy with their health and I've just started with a 3-2-4 fertilizer but have been giving them 10ml Cal/Mag per gallon in all waterings. Even though these are "supposed" to get tall, unless I raise the lights, it will be a 5 week veg for sure. So tomorrow I'm going from 36 inches to 46-48 inches with the LED's and raise the night time temperature spread to at least 15 degrees. Let's see the impact this has........... also notice the amount of perlite that keeps floating to the top of the pots. This is HP, not Bx Pro Mix and I added an additional 1.5 cu. sq. ft. of perlite too. So there's ALOT of perlite in there. I find the pro-mix compacts later in flowering, and this amount of perlite is surely going to take care of that.

I also grew 3 extra plants in a pot in case I needed them...... and I did, I yanked the 3 weakest baby's in the room and transplanted the extra's, getting rid of any "weak links". The roots on the ones i pulled looked healthy, mostly white and developed (spreading). I'm thinking I'll be upping the ppm (I was at 290 ppm in todays watering) to 360-375 ppm with the next watering in 3-4 days. They are telling me they want more N, and I'm glad to ablige.

CONTEST update.......... 10 guesses, one of them mine. 5K views, 9 guesses. You guys are pathetic. Even if you don't want the seeds, take a friggen guess. LOL Everyone else has til Sunday noon to get in on it.................Since no one has requested the Ethos's Reg's.......whoever guesses the Score exactly WILL WIN THESE TOO. Just a cornucopia of seeds.

I usually photgragh the right side of the room, here's the left side.

Here's my squares picks for the SuperBowl in my friends square contest. $25 each entry, 10 max entries. I initially bought $200 worth and my wife found out and extrapolated 50% (assumed control) of it. Then she offered 20% to my daughter Lissa and her husband Chris. Then I went and bought 2 more, so ten total. Then the wife went at it, convincing my other daughter she had to take 20% and make it a family affair. So now I have 30% total. WTF

But don't worry, I jumped right into someone elses squares that pays $50 every minute, instead of the end of each quarter. Just a spin off of the regular game, but with a fun twist. TB 0-KC 0 pays $50 evey minute until the first score.
