I'm also close to deciding that my next thread will be all pic's and nothing else........and i'll sprend the time in others threads. I pop in here and there but not enough. I think I'd like to do more of that as a break from a personal thread. You won't have me to pick on anymore.

Quick question since I see fans being talked about last page. Is cloudline the best? Are they worth it? Im liking the controllers for them just not sure on the quality since im new to this newer technology.

I need something quiet, and Ill only be using a 2x4 tent

No idea if they are the best. Frankly i doubt it. But they are more than good enough for me.

My cheap fans have done as good as job as my more expensive one I really see no difference, As far as noise goes if you hanging the from like a basement ceiling and your worried about noise upstairs make sure you use a vibration/ noise damping material to hang them with. if you use metal straps etc to hang them directly floor joists your going to get some noise and vibration.

Honestly I think they're one of the best values per dollar spent for a smaller grow space like that. Assuming you're in a moderate environment you can control most of the humidity and temp concerns by intelligently using your exhaust fan.

The Cloudline T series (I think - the one with the smart controller) replaces three devices; inline fan, heat controller, humidity controller. Not to mention it's difficult to find a setup that will allow you to control both heat and RH from the same device - in other words you can buy plenty of temp and RH controllers but usually you'll have to set up the fan on the temp controller and a dehu on the RH controller - the T series fans let you set upper and lower limits for temp and RH and automatically kicks the fan on to adjust.

I found they weren't a lot more than the cheap fans and they're pretty quiet.

My $0.02 YMMV

So, it's interesting that grow to grow, plants are growing slower and slower. A few days ago I raised the lights to 48 inches and also now have a temperature difference of 15 degrees between the on and off schedule. It surely looks like it will be a 5 week veg period.

Have your temps been getting cooler?

Absolutely.......cooler and the humidity is much lower. I'm still able to get the room between 80-81 degrees, humidity though has been more of a bear. I don't really want to add a humidifier, but i may start watering the floor each morning and let the water slowly evaporate thru the day. It's been cold here, the heat runs quite a bit. Under the HPS, my winter crops were always better than the summer ones. Under LED's, my summer crops may be better than the winter ones......

But plants are healthy, just small right now. No doubt they will catch up with time- they have 3 more weeks in veg to get there.

Your crops are like horses lol.. some fast out of the block and some go to the rear of field but bolt home in a photo finish (weight)...like they say light is food..was the light at same height for the zombie and gasm grow?..what is the humidity at compared to the first 2..

The Gasm and Zombie had the lights at 36-38 inches in veg and 18-20 in flowering. The Candy Lights are at 48 inches- but it was at 36 inches until a few days ago.

In the first two grows, the humidity would have been in the 80-90's lights on but at night could rise near 100% if I let it- I'm a stones throw from the Chesapeake Bay so humidity is oppresive here in the summer months. In veg I was around 65% with the dehumidifier, in flowering I started to slowly lower it as flowering progressed. I hovered around 50% for a good bit of time during flowering, the last two weeks I took it as low as I could (around 35%).

The weather is so different from summer to winter in the room, it's like living on two different planets, with two completely different strategies.........

Thats pretty high.would have had me in panic mode.lol..im battling high humidity right now .the dehumidifier its working okay..just ....i can get it to 54% but its 29deg lights off so i have to exhaust the heat out and get it down 27 deg but doing that lets all the bloody moisture back in lol..im constantly checking it..i use to love rain ha...when everythings back to normal humidity during lights on ranges between 52% to 38%...oh the zombies picked up in room its near caught the purple punch in the space of 4 days lol.not much of a smell though smells real hashy like .im going to use your seeds nxt grow..

Interesting you would say this. I have been running LEDs the whole time and I thought after all the trouble I had regulating the heat in the summer that I would definitely have a better time growing through the winter. But everything has gone SOOOO SLOOOOW

you have no idea how many times i have had to defend myself for still using hid bulbs against led fan boys. I heat my living room supplementally with them and the saved propane is worth way more than the electric i would save which is really not much.

now in the summer for a few months it would save air conditioning but i would still need the ac so it has been a hard decision.

Not so hard anymore though with @sshz blowin’ out 100+ oz. whew!
