Mulders Chart And Soil Nutrient Interaction

Antagonistic nutrients have a negative effect on the uptake of other nutrients. Possibly you have seen that an excess of Phosphorus (P) creates an imbalance with Iron (Fe) and Zinc (Zn)? Some nutrients do the opposite and their presence has a positive effect on the uptake of other nutrients...

Well, the room looks great today and I've decided just to hold off on the HPS and I'll hang them the start of the next grow as an experiment. Here's a pic from this morning......... another 2 weeks or so we and we should be good to go!

Most of you guys know the name Shantibaba, currently of Mr. Nice Seeds. He worked with Nevil, among others and is very well respected in the breeder community. I’m reading he was arrested and is currently not able to obtain bail. I would not order anything directly from Mr. Nice until this is resolved.

Wikipedia has a decent write up on him.

Ughhhhhhh i knowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I had just scored black widow seeds in auction for a good deal and they notified us of a one week delay for all order processing....

If not longer.......... sounds like he's in deep water right now. He's been arrested before, which might make it harder for him to see freedom. Not much out about it just yet.........

White Rhino is the strain of his to check out.......... I grew it when it was called Medicine Man and it was great.

Shanti has already done at least 2 years prison time in 2009 I believe, along with being arrested in Switzerland in 2003 for money laundering. In most places, sentences get worse as the convictions add up. I believe I read somewhere he was denied bail at this time. More will come out in the coming weeks I’m sure.

Max, I was going to hang them just above the LED’s....... with the floor fan blowing like crazy, the heat would be dissipated off the led’s quickly. I’d probably have to run the exhaust fan at full throttle, which I have yet to have to do.

I will definitely hang them the start of the next grow and we’ll see how that goes. I still think that’s the answer to the slow veg growth, MORE RED.

Yeah thats all i was worried about was the heat apon the leds whether it would affect there workings and damage the equipment..with your experience its good that you can experiment as you will notice if anything isnt right quickly..you could even put hps up during the transition to flower for 2-3 weeks.so many things you could try..even at the end during ripening just to see if you can fatten them up before the slaughter ..

Or put the hps under the led’s............ I'd lose some LED photons that are blocked by the HPS shield, but I'm not concerned with that.

I am sorry to inform you that Shantibaba has been detained. All auctions will continue, but processes will be delayed until I know the next steps. I kindly ask you all to be patient as this is not a pleasant situation to be in for anyone and wish to have the time to process what is happening.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing for sometime now, I don't want to break the bank buying LED's so I was going to mix some in with my HPS , to see if I could get the best of both worlds so to say. One thing I noticed though is I don't get the same stretchy lanky plants under my DE HPS as I did with Single HPS. some but not like I did with single ended bulbs. I have I think 9 in total orange gasms growing in a 4x4 area in my room under 1 1000w DE HPS but they do get light as well from all the other HPS lights around them. But the plants look almost identical to your orange gasm grow in every way.

Remember, I’m only concerned with veg.......for flowering it will only be the LED at 20 inches.
