African Black Magic/ Ituri Norie

Also made it past week two without any hermi issues. I've had some bad seeds from so called reputable seed banks this year.


Excited this morning as early flowering smells indicate a strong heavy spice odor! Excellent sign folks!!!

Nice! This lends credence to the f8 claim!

So first 2 pictures are nearly 3 days of no water/nutrients so i have got what seems to be a nitrogen deficiency, gotta get her them nutrients now. Did sit there and take a deep smell in (i dont smoke, but smelling these plants relax me which i like) and it does have a deep earthy smell in with, what seemed to me, like a slight mix of cinnimon amd spiced rum. Its certainly a unique smell from the other plants ive grown. Cant wait for when the buds start really forming. Also, i have only topped this one once, then light trimming, still new to the whole techniques and such.

Thanks for the pic!s AZ Chuck! Yep, they all seem to have a very similar structure. They fill in nicely too. So excited today.

I may be wrong but that looks like a Malawi gold type Sativa strain, very airy Buds???

Well she’s planted, root tail went from 1/16 inch last night to 1/2” inch this morning, Big and fat and ready to go…
Outdoors for next 60 days, Missouri high humidity high heat,
then to the tent ( torture chamber )!
Hope she likes UV…

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME brother! As I said, over and over... they're unique plants that are beautiful in their OWN RIGHT! BUT, just NOT the African Black Magic that I thought that I was ordering! Or else I wouldn't have ordered them! I'm really happy and excited to see such nice structure!

HOW far into flowering cycle?
I'm thinking about 5-6 weeks...?
Well, if that's the case, I'd say your flowers are spot on! When the plants are in flowering cycle and nearing completion of the flowering cycle they draw nutrients from the fan leaves indicate that the plant has finished properly without too much nitrogen duringflowering cycle! It's called 'Fall fade' or Autumn colors! It's perfectly natural for the plants to cannibalize themselves in the LAST few weeks into flowering cycle! Bravo! 🖒

According to my friend in coastal South Africa, KwaZulu is from just outside of Durban where he's from.
Malawi is farther North and inland. Landlocked.
He said that he was going to send me both KwaZulu and Malawi seeds soon. So they ARE different strains. And then the AFRICAN Black Magic in a couple of months because they're not mature YET!
I will keep updates going on my friend and any seeds that I hopefully get.

Yes, Buds look thicker in that picture…love those long thin leaves…, what do u call the points on the leaves ?!? There very pronounced ;) never thought about it before !

The more I look @ African strains, it’s amazing to see nature (life) adapt to its physical & solar environment.

Well, I'm glad that you have happy customers especially since I was the ONE who originally posted marijuana seed connect on this forum! MAYBE I will be happy with the end results too! So, ironically, you should be thanking me for those sales!

Like I SAID, it's a beautiful plant with a blueish hue and nice structure! BUT it was advertised as AFRICAN Black Magic with a pic of a BLACK plant and a classic ABM description! So, therefore I was under the impression THAT'S what it is!

So, being the one who introduced marijuana seed connect to the site, I felt obliged by my conscience to inform others of my educated assertions that YOUR strain is NOT African Black Magic BUT most likely Black Magic Andromeda Strain of cannabis!!!

Now look! I showed you evidence that is NOT on Google searches! Give unique and accurate information about the REAL African Black Magic cannabis! Told of my friend's experiences that are descriptions that you CAN'T find written anywhere but HERE! YOUR plants DON'T fit the descriptions! PERIOD!

As a matter of fact, neither does your SEEDS! My mystery friend, that you don't want to believe that I know, says the seeds are "pitch BLACK"!

NOW, compare the pic of my plant of YOUR seeds.... AND compare it to the only pic that I could find of Black Magic Andromeda Strain!

The leaf shape, spacing, colors... including black highlights, and plant structure looks identical to me!!! HEY! I might be WRONG! But I can admit when I'm wrong! Can you?

They do seem to have hybrid vigor! Mine is gaining a couple or few inches in a day!

As I said before, once in flowering there isn't really any significant variations between plants? Every hybrid I have grown has showed multiple phenos. I think you should wait for end result to make definite determination. Also, have you personally ever smoked it?
