Had to chop. 8 1/2 weeks, wish I could've went another week but it is what it is. All in all I consider this a successful first grow. Thanks for all your help and encouragement.

Check fan leaf on bottom! Wow!
I suggest doing a bud wash anytime you grow outside.... Esp when you are finding a little rot here and there.Well was checking on the girls today and one of my Trainwreck’s had about 6 buds with rot I take her in and out every night from the garage to keep the dew and rain away, I think the cold and hot fluctuations and dense buds did it, worked from the inside out so I chopped her tonight got rid of ANYTHING I thought was suspicious….unfortunately I have no clue WTF I’m doing cause I’ve never done this before….i understand wet vs. dry trim but I don’t understand trimming
Basically I just gave everything a buzz cut, I’ll post pictures tomorrow so y’all can get a good laugh…. Oh well gotta start somewhere
Do you wash on the stem then trim in salad bowl trimmer of trim then wash? This is what it looks like after salad bowl wet trim, bud wash, 7 days in mesh drying rack
well done , they look beautifulAnd, finally, the 3rd one, which will also be going down Monday. She sprouted June 8 -- my birthday! She is about 5-10% fully amber, but had quite a few clear trichs still when I checked a few days ago, but she's finally looking finished now, and has that senescent look, unlike a week ago, when she was still praising all day. She's been a cool plant!

Great looking buds!! Should be some fairly easy trimming too by the looks of it.It's a chilly and cloudy day today, and the trich inspection was to my liking on 2 of the 3 Maui Wowie girls, so I'm taking them down Monday morning. It was good lighting for their final photo op, so I took a bunch of pics, that I'll break up into 3 posts.
Here's the oldest one, sprouted May 16 outdoors in a 1 gallon, and she survived a late season snowstorm while I was out of town that killed 2 other seedlings, so she's TOUGH!
About 10% fully amber, and the rest are all milked out, almost no clear trichs.
