One of my limbs broke due to heavy wind, this is what I got off of it. Did I trim the buds good enough?
Thank you, how will I know when the curing process is done?Trim job looks fine. Remember to burp your jars daily for the first week or so.
Good call. I'm in S. Ontario as well. Lost a lot of my crop early October last year to bud rot. This year, I had one plant, and I took it down yesterday (noticed one small mid height bud with rot starting)... definitely the weather has turned, and I'm away on business for the next week, so I'm not making the same mistake as last year. I think it could have used an extra week, but I've flushed the past 2 weeks, and have a nice mix of milky/clear tricomes, with a tiny bit of amber. It's all in the cure now! Congrats on the harvest!Dispensary-bought Sugar Black Rose clone put in ground May 24 and harvested today.
Could have gone a week or 2 longer but she was getting a bit too heavy and after test vaping some potent tasting sample buds a few days ago. I'm in S. Ontario & I don't want to chance bud rot and or PM as I've seen a few faint traces of mildew on some leaves. Feeling good about making that call
That's the reason I no longer grow outside....dreams of wonder turn to mold in the cold...lol poet....We can veg up here but flowering to their finish is tough.....Not many strains I've grown finish in 8 weeks, most go 10, outside I can get maybe 7 before the M work hits.....my part of Nova Scotia is cold damp and damp...and,,,foggy....and.......yes.......its damp in October.....Good call. Yes, I think this weekend could be good! You took really good pics! I can clearly see a lot of trichomes aged out and amber, and all the pistils are done, so it's looking like a good time to chop.View attachment 1288985View attachment 1288986View attachment 1288987

I have similar weather. That highs in 50s and lows in 30s is a killer! Here’s mine so far. It’s unknown strain of clone I got from a friend. Started it a bit late in Fox farm soil & used GH flora duo nutes. It’s been holding up to cold weather so far. Hopefully I can push another wk.or two with cold weather.
Theres a new thread idea!Let's see some harvest pics!
