Yeah, probably! If I did it, it would be more to keep the population of pollinators up! The honey would just be a side benefit! Everyone has their own ideas on what constitutes environmental consciousness! There are a lot of people here in the business that rent them out! Around here, if anyone else had seen that jackrabbit, it would be dead!

Hey @Oldchucky! You mentioned the turkeys pecking at your plants? It took me a couple of days of searching photos but I found it.
A couple of years ago I had just finished planting the flowers I had started from seed and who shows up?!! She brought friends too!

Turkey

And here's the reason my cherry tomatoes all went missing when they turned ripe. Damn chipmunk!

Didn't bother them last year, hope he's gone. LOL

I’m surprised you don’t have a lot of them around there,Cpurrr. They are awesome birds! But can wreak havoc on a vegetable garden! And you sure caught that cute little varmint red-handed! And these walked by as I was reading your post! At least one young Tom!

Sorry to bomb your thread haha but would these be worth a F you think?

The reviews seem okay but people say the working room is more like 10x14 which seems super small.

This seems to be the best I can find at the moment in my price range, there is some 20x24 of a different brand but they’re used and about outta stock

No problem LB! I wouldn’t want to go less than 24 inch screens. you need that room for swirling, your gloved hand or whatever static separation method you use. Your basically separate the heads from the contaminants using static electricity, built-up. And you might be better off waiting and researching. The larger screens should come back into stock eventually. We are getting into the hot and humid season which isn’t conducive to dry sifting. i’ve just done it during the winter. From what I’ve gathered, it is tough to build up A static charge in warm and especially humid conditions. So I would kick back and take my time researching. from what I’ve seen, summer might be a better time for making ice water hash. I am still a noob when it comes to this stuff with limited experience. but I am going to keep experimenting during the spring, and maybe summer! See if I can come up with something that works. You need that static charge to clean the sift.

Right on, I appreciate the feedback dude!
I’m definitely going to keep on researching, I’ve been googling and watching YouTube videos but, I’m honestly not even sure the questions to ask.
I’m becoming fairly acquainted with the process but that’s just from YouTube videos and GNick but don’t really know anything haha.

I’m definitely intrigued and will be purchasing screens at some point in the future. More than likely I’ll be low tech, throwing portioned bags of weed in the freezer, sitting in a hot and humid room sitting but my passion has always been on a different level then finances.

Typically my son’s mom talks me out of these decisions, but you know what she said?
“Oh yeah start making hash I want to try some” 🤣
