I've had a very terrible time dealing with Grow Strong Industries aka Gorilla Grow Tents & Carbon Filters

And i want to share my experience here so others don't have to go through the same shit as me.

I first made contact with Rory (Owner of Gorilla) and reached out to ask a few questions about the carbon filter

Rory was quick to answer all questions.

So i went ahead and purchased the filter (shipment is going outside of usa)

Ships from Amazon
Sold by Grow Strong Industries

10 days later the filter arrived in its own amazon box.

The amazon shipping box had zero damage.

The product box for the carbon filter also had zero damage.

But upon opening the gorilla box i was shocked, it looks like a truck had run over the filter totally smashed up....

Damage1

But how? if both shipping boxes were 100% fine.

I guess someone is shipping out damaged filters in brand new boxes.

I was pissed, i needed my filter ASAP

So i reached back out to Rory to show him the photos of the damage and ask for a refund.

And for the past 6 days he has ignored me fully leaving me with no choice but to post here and warn others not to support there shady company.

This is very unfortunate, they have excellent gear, hopefully customer service catches up with the equipment quality. We run very specific equipment for a reason, it’s expensive but we pay for it, to get that quality. and for it to be delivered damaged and get no response or assistance from customer service is very disheartening.

Spread the word, they'll have no choice but to deal with this filter issue.

Well that sucks.

With the returns Amazon has I would not surprise me that some cheap duck returned there broken shit on Amazon.

They in turn restock as nothings wrong until you buy it.

I was looking at ordering direct from Gorilla shipping north through shippsy rather than any other party.

Even if this is the case, the owner Rory was happy to quickly answer any pre sale questions, but now i have a problem he is ignoring me for 6 days straight....not cool!

That sucks brother but just return it to Amazon? They will literally take anything back! If they shipped it, they have some responsibility if it I would think? Call them, the worst they can say is no. 🤷🏻‍♂️ thx for the heads up, I learned my lesson about tents in the summer time though, never again!

International returns with amazon is a lot of work, and whats the point of mailing back the road kill filter lol its a waste of time for everyone.
Rory should do the correct thing, stop ignoring me and issue a full refund.

Try asking Amazon CS for a refund? I've been using Amazon for a long time and I'm even in the Vine program. Usually CS takes care of it if you tell them the 3rd party seller is being a douche.

Told them showed them the photo also, they said no...tried 4 different agents, they all said no.
