oh, thats actually normal here in the TN mountains. 55-60f nights and near 100 during the day. What is strange, is that it's august, and only hitting low 80s during the day here rn. My plants are loving it though. Dont think ive ever seen outdoor plants stacking in person quite like i got this year, remains to be seen how that home stretch is gonna go though. All but 2 of hte plants are looking damn near like indoor flower tbh.

The polar votex completely collapsed at the end of last winter. They saw nearly a foot of snow as far south as georgia and Alabama from it. Temps well below zero before the wind chill too. Was the first time we've seen it collapse to that degree before the winter season was out. It's also an El Nino year immediately following a La Nina year, which i dont think has happened before in modern times either iirc. My mom had 14 inches of snow on the ground, temps at like -8f, while it was long sleeve tshirt weather 8 hours further north. And what's wild about that, is all of her Annuals made it through this winter, and grew back too, but it killed most of her perrenials 🧐🤔

Im expecting wild weather going into winter this year, especially here in the mountains, and an even wilder start to next spring most likely.

But I also got this feeling september is gonna hit with a vengeance as far as heat and storms go.

I didn’t think it was even possible but after 3 weeks, I’m starting to think my 100% cloning success rate might actually get broken!

Nah itll make it, snip that crap off and it’ll be ok. I’ve grown them out worse than that. Just don’t give up on the lil shit. 👊🏻🤡

Or kill it with fire. 😂

That feeling when you spent 3 days digging and leveling using a level, but then realize whoever put up the shed did not do the same, but said they did.😑

Now I gotta tell the old man his "professionally installed" shed is a half inch down on the right and almost 2 inches up on the left from true level lol. I only gotta bring the left side u p like an 1/8-1/4" for true level and there gonne be a gap between shed and deck for most of the run still.

Easy with that “true level”

You could end up a lamb to the cosmic slaughter.

When I first saw this, it had me thanking all the hand-me that’s that blew leveling all those walkways,

It’s also why I believe building in a “fall” at whatever degree and pitch was totally to skirt madness……🤪

nailed it lmao.

I zip tied her where i wanted her for putting the net over her. But i forgot to snip em. Got lucky i re-found them lmao. That's my slowest flowering PB too. She has a bit more stem girth to push still.
Where have I seent that befurr????
🤘

im just talking a little bit of shit on the "professional installers" of that shed.

Its one of those sheds on the two big wood beam skis. It just sits on like 10 cinderblocks. And the damn thing was put nealy 3 inches off level.

I started my decking before i double checked their work. So even though it's their shed that's wrong, the result is that my properly leveled deck is what looks wrong because of the un-level ground+shed -_- I should have leveled the deck to the shed, not gravity lmao.

The old man doesnt care at all, thinks it looks fantastic for mostly repurposed wood., it's me that cares lmfao. Itll be a little annoying sometimes though, once i realized how off the shed was, i started checking the shelves inside it. The roll is very real, prob the worst ive ever seen it. An improperly placed curved surface may very well become a bump on the noggin 5 seconds later lmao.

Get some el cheap o shims. A mallet and smash them into the most eye catching low spots. It’ll help your eyes whenever you are around it.

Shit drives me nuts too.
You just give a shit is all. I get it.

Im bringing a floor jack and shims next time. That shed is seriously annoying me lmao. Was gonna go back today but hes feeling under the weather. I still gotta put a foot on one of the deck frames, bolt em together, and make a ramp that can hold his tractor lol. The decks can hold his pickup truck. We drove it up with the plastic ramps yesterday lol.

Nothing is level anymore. I actually installed a toilet on an almost perfect floor couple weeks ago that the owner and his brother had replaced. Only way you'll get close is to do it yourself. Most contractors are nothing but licensed salesmen these days.

Yeah, on jobs I would just leave my square in the truck.
