Ppfd is 500, plants are 51 days out, PH 6.2, temp 78F. Every evening about two hours before lights out my growtips wilt. In the morning they are up and happy. Happens wet or dry. What's going on? Can it be fixed? Is it just part of lifecycle?

I'm back into soil this year after going hydro for several years... I pH my water to 6.5 - 6.6 if it isn't already there. My water comes right out the ground via a very clean spring (10-15ppm) and usually is 6.8 to 7, but when it rains our holding tank can drop to 6.5 or 6.6 temporarily.

I'm not checking runoff pH unless I suspect something is afoul.

You can grow at lower ph lvls however it’s not optimal

All depending on what your feeding the soils could be buffering the ph anyway

Whichever way it’s no big deal it’s your grow & only you can decide what you want to do

Depends on your soil and water I guess. Back in the 90s nobody considered it at all for most home grows. You bought your dirt, mixed in your organics, watered from the tap, and then went on about your day. The day I went hydro was the day I started overthinking.
