Blimburn came highly recommended. The variation in seed size is not something I saw in any ILGM product.
I wanted a kush or blackberry moonrocks and I dropped the kush as growers reported a high percentage failed to germ. The breeder had a germ warranty but most growers did not even try to get free seeds it was that bad a strain. Picky on p and k and the pink blush was very rare.
Really if anyone can check me I would love to hear it.
If you get 18 seeds and 1/2 the seeds are 2 times the size of the others do you plant or send back.

Silica from what I have read is for tightening up stems and such and although I do have it on the shelf I have not had weak stem issues and have not used it as a maintenance addition.
Cal-mag I do add at 75% light target and above.

Took a cup of soil with the seed starter and mixed it up.
30 grams and 30ml water slurried tested 6.1 pH.
Dug up a pot found damp started 4 inches down.
EC of ro water 5 ppm .
Added Epsom salt for grins and skyrocketed. Tester working soil ok.

4 more BBMR and the autos dropped.
Will just run the BBMR in the same pots but am going to repot a 5 for 2 3 gallon pots for the autos.

Update.
Ok I had unburied 4 seeds but I did leave 1 in the pot. It seems better wedged in than the others or maybe had roots. I did write it off but it has risen about a 1/2 inch above dirt level. Eyeball on a stick. Will wait 24 hours for spraying but it looks like I will wind up with 2 KBMR and one GXGSC from 6 seeds.
Still have backups dropped and will use 2nd tent for autos.
If I do get more to pop will see how far I can run them in a solo cup.

This post sat for about 7 hours as I forgot to finish it.
Now I am going to be back up to 6 pots after I just got done with 11/ then 9 and bitched about the work load from all these plants.
I must be more high than I thought......

That's all I ever get from bag seed, it seems. Just keep popping, keep popping.

Update
7 for 7 on germination and presentation of tail.
Installed autos in 3 gallon fabric pots with previously amended soil. Placed seeds in center divot of seed starter 1/2 inch down and covered with loose seed starter.

1 KBMR was installed as a companion to the last helmet head that is still on already sprouted in the tent
The other 4 KBMR were split up with 2 each going into 5 gallon fabric pots previously amended.
Back to 7 pots in a tent and 10 plants.
It is not my intention to run 2 plants in a pot winner gets to live longer and then starved dehydrated and burned.

Update.
Watered the tent. Older plants 150 ml around middle. Newer plants with 2 seeds 200 ml autos with one seed 100 ml.
Moved lights on older plants to 10k lux
Last helmet head is showing zero signs of removing headgear. Has not moved up since 8am check Monday. Might be done but I did companion plant another BBMR seed in this pot.
78 degrees 74% RH
Condensate jug working fine recycling water back into humidifier.
Still wanna work on a recapture system for this. May have to put a gussett hole in tent for line.

That's a great idea. I had 4 'extras' in 3.5" pots that needed watering so I put them in the catch basin and voila. Of course I couldn't leave them in it.

Update
Watered all plants 200ml older plants and 100ml auto and 150ml BBMR with 2 in each pot
Checked lights ensuring older plants under 10500 and new sprouts under 8500.
We have 2 plants 1/2 inch above ground, both in same pot.
We have one auto Haze with desturbed dirt ready to break
Helmet head still upright and it appears the shell is drying out and green is appearing between shell and stalk.

With melting snow house back to 50% RH and grow room at 63% . Turned off auxillary humidifier and dropped to 60% but the water load on the humidifier is very much reduced.
I am at 55 in the basement with no dehumidifiers operating.
OMG winter is so much easier......

Well I have tried for a while but I can not get Vivosun to sell me another pair of the 150 watt blower lights for $130 so I am getting the Farmlite 260 watt bar style. It uses 10v control so I should be able to use the Vivosun app for control. It will be fine for single plant, autos and veg tent use.
That gives me the 700 total in the 4x4.

Am i reading that your having trouble germinating the moonrocks? I so wanted to see this grow of them.

Update
Sigh.......

So it looks like I once again have 50% failure rate in the BBMR. I have 2 that have made it up and out but in the same pot.
In addition I have the pots moved around to have the ones that have not broached stay under 8500 and the older ones now need boosting as they are at max for position 11k and stretching. Will boost and out at 12.5 today

Both the autos have stalled. Some dirt got moved a bit then stopped.
2 plants progressing from here. One BBMR and one GXGSC.
2 in same pot may try a split up if nothing else comes up. I really want 4 in the 4x4
Since it looks like the 31x31will not have plants I am going to launch some White Widow Photos and use the same pots and soil for a single plant run on the turntable.

Balanced pot placement and adjusted lights to 51% at tallest position. All pots in center at 7800 lux
Top 3 inches removed and Home Grown at cannabis feed rate mixed in and soil reinstalled. Pots watered with one liter and tent set at 65% humidity.
With no heat support this gives me 74 in the tent. The thermoforge is good for 10 degrees.
One sweep fan above lights
One sweep fan in middle of tent
All light mounted fans on 10 speed as they are 4 foot 8 inches from pots.

I had to use water sealant on my RO filter and this will render it non repairable. Good as new should last 2 runs
48 bucks meh.

I checked, I have 9 BBMR. I don't know your experience level so don't think I'm trying to slight you at all....
What method do you use to germinate?

Germination is not the issue. Everybody comes out of the shell.
It is placed in a 5 gallon fabric pot in a little dash of seed starter. It is in a tent at 79 degrees and 78% humidity.
It is in 60/40 ocean forest and happy frog with 15% perlite by volume. The first 3 inches of dirt were removed and mixed with Dr Earth Home grown at the Dr Earth Cannabis schedule feed rate.
The seeds either do not progress from installation in the pot or come up in 3 days and have helmet head.
3 came out. 2 dropped headgear. One is still trying.

Last run same everything and I had 10 of 11 pop and 9 of 11 finish. Those were the apple fritter Auto.

This last attempt. 4 KBMR and 2 came up in same pot and both doing well.
Both autos moved some dirt to break through and stalled.

The only difference in the 2 runs is the pot prep. I started the pots and ran them for 10 days with nemetodes. This was to eliminate any chance of gnants. I then did the Dr Earth top dress and installed the seeds in the pots.
In any event If I get no action by tomorrow am I am gunna drop some WW.

I had issues with getting mine to pop. I believe is was a bad batch of seeds. Germinated Malawi x NL......didnt pop....did 2 more.....didnt pop. Contacted seed distributer and they resent my order. Had no problems with them.

Hmmm i've never done it that way. I've always started photos and autos in a 2x2 or a solo cup once i see a tail in the paper towel. Then a small shot glass or clear small glass to keep humidty up. Never put 2 seeds in same pot either. But different strokes for folks, if it works?

The 2 in a pot was due to a 50% success rate. If 2 came up had planned to cull one.
Now I have to try and move it if I want 4 plants.
