in thier description they said they used the chemdog ...which one and who's? was it seed or a clone? and to give a better description how do they all the sudden know whats in chemdog and no one esle does? I'm all for listing what is what, but come on.

I've grown it out once and hated it. Came upon another fem a friend sent and was gonna keep as a mom until i smoked what i yielded. Theirs better genetics to spend your money on.(Not trying to dis you at all.)

Nothing bad to say about the VK,but I also grew out the AG,and it was'nt mildew resistant,but both are dank.Heres a pic of a VK top,should be done soon.

Theres alot of cons not many pros when it comes to barneys .I understand you paid for em might as well grow them .just dont be shocked if it doesnt look ,taste or smell like a VK .DJ short just dropped some real DEAL VK. They are on my X-MAS list .I wish you the best of luck in your quest .

The LSD was a vast disappointment to be honest. My buddy grew it out and what didn't through stamenate flowers was nothing special. It was not bad, just nothing special. He popped 6 seeds if I remember correctly. I wouldn't bother with it, very sativa leaning in terms of growth, not the high. Was mediocre. I really hope that yours are better. Good luck.

Hmm? My VK is 2 weeks into 12/12 and I must say it has been a picky girl to say the least. Does not like too much water. Not crazy about nutrients in ppm over 650. Very finicky plant. I took one clone just to be able to run her again if she produces dank smoke. Mine is a very tangy kushy smelling plant. The clone was yellowing and almost dead by the time it sprouted one single root lol. However I brought her back from deaths doorstep & she's still kickin & doin betta :-) that being said I don't think I'll be running her a third time. The mother plant that is in my flower room stretched Sooo damn much that she's now taller then my Sour Cream that is a 70% Sativa! She is packing on pistils though fineally. Shit you should of seen her wilt when I fed her bud ignitor. Definatley a very picky bitch. My wife calls her the Charlie Brown tree lol. I'll put some pics up later if you don't mind me hijacking the thread a little. Oh and on a side note. This plant does NOT like hydro.

I'm working w/ it to cross w/ a Moroccan LR pheno that has a particularly strong orange aroma. My goal is to mix the orange w/ a creamy vanilla, ie "Creamsicle". I'm growing out the cross now to see if the project is worth pursuing. Am also re-reading the posts to see if there are any clues to finding another source for vanilla-like terps. Thanks for the info.

I had made a purchase and got a vk bean along with my order. i grew it out for shits and giggles. In my own opinion, vanilla kush is probably the best smoke i have ever had. No Joke!. I understand scrutinizing the company but the strain itself is amazing. The kashmir side of it is very prevalent and makes for a very aromatic and tasty treat. Very body oriented high that makes you not want to do a DAMN thing haha. but all in all. scrutinize the company not the strain. awesome

True dat! You know how a plant gets it's second wind after a rough start? My Vanilla Kush is 3 weeks into 12/12 and man o man is she takeing off & packin on nuggets. But she's still a pain in the beginning from seed

I have a great pheno of LSD from BFarms. Very high yield, decent bag appeal, and powerful medicine. Its the only thing I've grown from Barney Farms, but its enough to make me think that you CAN find some gems in their beans.

i poped 2 beans of VK and got ah really good pheno, its smokes good Taste like vanilla and brown suger, and it yields big, gets done outdoors early, its really good weed.

Vanilla Kush is not new just another Amsterdam re-name. Who knows what it really is or how much Barney paid to be the winner. Amsterdam genetics are a thing of the past. The real breeders have left the building and loving it. Fuck that freezing godforsaken place. The relaxed laws were the only reason anyone was there in the first place. Relaxed is a thing of the past Holland has a new program in which they encourage neighbors to report cannabis growers for a reward. So the truth is that any genetics coming out of Amsterdam are just re-namers of the same old tired genetics. Skunk 1 Northern Lights, and Haze.
