Barneys Farm Vanilla Kush- Canna cup winner 2nd place

Im popping 5 fem seeds of her, and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or info on her. Ill def be keeping a nice grow journal for the bud porn, cuz im sure shes gonna be ridiculoussssssssss.

Heres the only thing I found on it:

Vanilla Kush is an incredible new Indica-dominant strain and is one of the most fragrant, full-flavoured and potent plants that Barneys Farm have ever offered. Vanilla Kush genetics come from Kashmir and Afghan. The intense aromas from large, dense colas –heavily speckled with red and gold trichromes – bring to mind wild vanilla and lavender, accented with lemon and orange peel. Once lit, the floral and herbal aromas become more concentrated and the smoke offers sweet flavours. Vanilla Kush grows to about 55- 60cm in height indoors and takes her cannabis seeds 60-65 days to flower. Outdoor harvest time is the end of September. Her THC is strong of 22%. sounds very interesting, hopefully it dont end up being just another strain called by a differnt name like so many other barney strains. i bought their topdawg cuz of the article in high-times then 2 weeks later they change the genetics of what topdawg is. now topdawg is Mexican sativa, but when they were advertising it, it was a Chemdog hybrid. wish you all the luck and im gonna look at the journel

Hey logic,

Did you get the Dr Grinspoon. hardsell from Derry at Barney's. Looked like a bunch of toothpicks with one calix every half inch or so. Total larf in the jar but "doent look good but its fire!" My sample went up like kindeling.

Well I hope I at least I can get the strain to the fullest of her capabilities, whatever they are. I guess I was just interested since of its Canna cup stature, but if she isnt everything that I expected of her, I'll just pop the spice of life bluebonic seeds I have ;)

Yeah sorry to disappoint but the vanilla kush did suck. They were hyping it up a lot at Barney's but it just was not that good, at least the samples they had for the cup really sucked. Maybe you can bring out a different phenotype, good luck.

Thanks Sanvanalona, I dont care much about the hype anymore, Im just determined to make it as incredible as it can be. Hoping on at least one mama but if not ill eradicate her from the list. All I can say is, We will see =).

Dude its Mexican sativa crossed with Afghan which is pretty much a sour diesel and the original SD was made by Chemdog so all in all they never changed the genetics there just giving you better specs because Barney's has begun working with landrace genetics and could have had the same strain just revamped because of the name change or just simply to give the customer better info on what they are getting. I don't know about the rest of you guys out there but i would much rather have an actual genetic breakdown of the landrace strains rather then all the stupid fucking names you give weed. If you guys want bush like some next shit called fruity grape blast or some shit be my guest but if your a decent minded grower i would want to know my genetics instead of wasting $100 on seeds you don't know shit about. i dont care how much money you have because youll just end up with dank you wont want to smoke well i will be enjoying the fruits of my labour.

VK is very relaxing for me. Not mind blowing or complex. Its sufficiently potent and would recommend for anxiety. Has a clear-headed/body-numbing high. In all a pretty lazy strain. May not be spacejam but find it to be far from crap.

Barneys farm seeds is the one of the biggest jokes in the seed industry like Greenhouse seed co lol

I wouldnt waste my money on the crap like that, i was at HT in 2009 and they won with Utopia Haze that tasted like shit and no way on earth should of won a Cup at Hightimes just like greenhouse but they pay for the HTC events so its obvious the peepz who pay for the event win the 1st and 2nd prizes. While the real winner is 3rd prize lol
