GDP, 4K Lights, 1st Diary

Almost a week into flower and my plants havent stretched much. That is a good thing since I am running out of verticle space. They have grown some, mostly just thickening up on stalk and branches. I cant wait till these girls start showing.

Two weeks in now. My plants have started to stretch a little more in the second week. They produced alot of leaf. I thinned plants out by taking off as few fan leafs as possible to open up canopy and let light down on to branches and hidden bud sites. I trimmed larf from the bottom of plants. I raised lights up as far as they would go(not very much, couple inches). These girls are looking good. Bud sites everywhere. I think I will need more fans later on to move more air around buds because the canopy is so thick. I also started adding CO2 to the mix. I would like to let it heat up alittle more in my room but it has been so cold out side I might need a heater to do so.
These girls are very slow starters. At two weeks and barely showing. Hopefully GDP is a late bloomer... We will see. Other then that they look very healthy.
Anyways, just a quick update. I will add pics later on.

63 days this time. I usually pull a little earlier though. I waited till trichomes were very amber this time. I was told bubbah really packs it on if you go a little longer so I wanted to try it. I am happy with the results. It really showed color in the last few days and produced alot of resins.

Man, I would pull Bubba at 70-80 days and watch out.. As far as pics go, if your taking a very high res pic, it might be too large to upload and ya might have to modify it? Nice pics and keep us updated..

I hope so. I had some hermie problems recently and havent had a really good sized harvest in about 8 months. My last couple crops were small. Im glad to be finally getting back on track. Hopefully all those problems are behind me.

Ive been battling these plants to try to get light through to all branches and budsites. I have been trimming so much off of them that I think its too much then a couple days later they are bushed back up. This is a very bushy cut. I hope the flowers grow as vigorously as the leaves.

Yeah brother! Looking good. GPD produces for sure. What week are you on? My GDP will starts week 6 on Monday. I think you are a week or so ahead of me. I trimmed the bottoms of mine. They look like palm trees! I like to trim with GDP because they are so leafy and bushy that bottom never gets any light away and you'll end up tossing the bottom bud because it's fuzzy and light green garbage. I am doing a ScgOG looking setup with a double-decker net on each tray. I'll take a pic tonight.

How are things looking? How long are you going to let em go? I am at day 42. Are you're girls turning purple yet? Mine just started this week.

I am fighting some mites right now. Things are looking better though I caught them early.
