Thank you. Explained, that makes perfect sense.
See, this is one of the issues I see, there's a lot of misleading information out there. I have a video that even suggests adding the spacers to drain all the water out.
I'll remove the spacers right away.
I flushed the tank and ran some...
The white rings elevate the buckets at the end and gradually decrease in height to allow all the water to flush back into the control bucket. What you're saying is that I don't really want this? The 1" or so of water is a good thing? I have a video where they recommended using the spacers to...
Understood. I'm going to do just that. I guess I feel misdirected by my hydro guy who gave me the feeding schedule. What ppm levels make sense? Also, it seems one thing a lot of people do, which make sense, is to mix the concentrate of nutrients in a smaller body of water, like a 2 gallon...
Thanks for the replies. Yes, I'm in socal.
There is something fundamentally that I'm doing wrong either in my feeding or my environment. Would it be likely that the feeding chart I'm following is just too hot for the strain?
Here's the thread on my veg stage which has a lot of information...
Right now i'm using the Botanicare line. I'm very curious about using organic material. Is it true that it's more difficult to burn your plants with organic nutrients?
Are all these ingredients available at my local hydro store? Bat Guano is something I've seen but there's a lot on this list...
I'm not quite sure what to do...yeah, I'm kind of starting to get impatient. I did probably all of the things you're not supposed to do as a new grower. One, I spent a great deal of money. I have a set up that if put in the hands of someone who actually knew what they were doing could turn...
Unfortunately I have to agree with you. Good times though. Good shows. PAHC. Haha. Kids are too emo now. I laugh because people think emo is a new term. Plus I feel like an old man at shows now. Kind of sad.
I'm vegging in rockwool placed on top of some coco mat to help with algae. Problem is, the roots are growing into the coco mat, which is going to make things very difficult for transplanting, which I planned on doing very shortly.
First, is coco mat a good idea in the first place? It was...
...only other thing I used around the same time was Fox Farm's "Don't Bug Me" spray which I sprayed directly on the plants. From reading the bottle *after* sprayed (yeah...), direct contact might have been too much. The bottle says to spray it into the corners of the room to create a mist. I...
I did some bending of the main stalk and it makes sense. I have other problems () right now. I'm still doing a lot to dial in my grow rooms. Hydro seems real touchy and perhaps not the best choice for a beginner.
I appreciate the help!
Thanks. I'm going to run some clearex to reduce any build up and run at the lower amounts and cut out the superthrive. What else should I be thinking about???
12 clones of master kush. Started off great. I was amazed at the growth. Now something is going wrong and I'm getting some burnt edges and yellow on new growth. Pictures are attached.
Information:
20 gallon res using all Botanicare nutes. Pure Blend Pro Grow at 10ml/gallon, 2ml/gallon...
The other plants are clones from a reliable source. So far so good on those clones.
When you say supercrop for a fuller canopy, does this imply that I could bring the lower branches in closer together to create a more consecutive canopy?
Like bend branches in and up instead of out and down...
I'm a beginning grower. Still dailing in my environment and improving things weekly. I'm still not there yet, but I'm making forward steps.
I wanted to get some thoughts on when it makes more sense to just start again, rather then continue to try and treat a plant and suffer through...
That's the thing, out of the tap, my water is around 800 ppm. Temp at the root zone stays pretty much the same. I have two temp sensors, one mounted on the wall of the tent and one sitting at root zone. Temps stay the same.
thanks!
