    Most efficient LEDs right now?

HLG says you can run up to 100 Scorpions with an Autopilot PX2. Order the RJ 0-10v version instead of dimmer knob

Floraflex system recommendation, for my setup

A month late, but I can share my experiences using Floraflex Matrix over the past year. The Matrix is a very good idea, poorly executed. They are molded from thin flimsy plastic rather than the stiffer stuff the FloraCap is made from, the Matrix Pads are nice but would be better if the precut...

Help with Fox Farms 70/30 coco…

I don't know how to link to other posts, however @Aqua Man Man has a good one here titled: HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

Will Indoor Bud be around in 5 years??

Empty bag serious . . . always creepers around everywhere I've lived if the weed is loud and you aren't remote enough

Will Indoor Bud be around in 5 years??

Quality aside, indoor bud is gonna be around as long as there are thieves outdoors running around stealing anything they can find. I would love to put a few out in the backyard garden but don't want to have to guard them every night when they get that smell going on . . . ole boy down the way...

    HLG Scorpion Diablo Remote Control

First few items on their FAQ page concerns dimmers and controllers. From HLG website: The following wired controllers can be used with HLG 550, HLG 600, HLG650R,HLG 350 R, Scorpion Series A single dimmer can control up to 30 lamps. Dimmers are for dimming only, and are not reliable for turning...

Oops! Broke a bud. What do I do now?

I've never tried with a bud, but a male branch with balls formed, cut early will continue to mature until it releases pollen when placed in a glass of water. Never thought about it but maybe a bud that far along could ripen the same way. Likely been too long for that one, just a thought for...

    Does UVA cause early harvest?

I doubt I'm a very good guinea pig . . . but I think I'll try some Banana Kush next run, I ran those last before I added the UVA and have seeds and notes. I can maybe speak with a bit more actual knowledge rather than guesses after that.

    Does UVA cause early harvest?

Hard for me to see without the microscope. This is the best I picture I can get right now: I may need to look at another bud higher on the plant, this was a small one down below the net.

    Does UVA cause early harvest?

Nothing changed on nutes or feedings . . . only change has been the addition of UVA bar. Same nutes, feeding schedule, etc. all the same, but flower period seems shorter. The plant in question is one of two free seeds from NASC that I don't know much about . . . maybe I got a "FAST" version of...

Coco over RDWC - and why?

Not in every way . . . I just had a pump crap out while away. I don't know if it died on Friday or Saturday but when I came home Monday I had a VERY thirsty girl. Had it happened in R/DWC you would have likely had a very dead plant. Also when the storms come and the power goes for more than a...

    Does UVA cause early harvest?

Seems like I always get a least some foxtailing . . . I've been raising the light a bit every few days but other than that I don't worry too much about them.

    Does UVA cause early harvest?

I thought I knew when to harvest my plants but this one is a puzzler for me. My last run seemed to finish a bit quicker after I added the UVA bar for the first time, but I have a Blueberry feminized photoperiod that was flipped on 2/6/2022, 53 days ago. They are under a Scorpion Rspec w/UVA bar...

Can anyone recommend a good heat controller that supports 1500w heater.

I have an oscillating fan running . . . just can't get the heater to cycle at the right point. Best I can get right now is heater kicks in between 75-77 F and cuts off somewhere between 81-85+ . . . I've played with the built in thermostat enough . . . time for something to change, new heater...

Can anyone recommend a good heat controller that supports 1500w heater.

Would get too hot fast on a timer, 150+ year old house, even in the basement temp changes too much to have a static heat setting . . . heater has a thermostat built in that works but not accurately (sometimes cuts off at 80, sometimes 85), either way, without any sort of remote probe it reads...

Can anyone recommend a good heat controller that supports 1500w heater.

I use a small milkhouse heater on occasion in my main grow room and I was looking for a controller that will handle 1500w. I had planned on the inkbird 308 but when I looked at details on it 1100w is max draw . . . low setting on the heater is 1200w so I would appreciate anyone who could suggest...

    I’m Teetotally Lost On This

Was thinking about your earlier post, if physical issues will present a problem reaching your plants I would skip the net, go with lst and make/get a big lazy susan so you can turn your plants easily.

    Why do people grow autos?

Regardless of whether new grower or seasoned vet I wish everyone great success with all your autos and photos. Only advice I can offer anyone growing autos is keep the root zone warm (77-78° F) those first 2-3 weeks . . . don't over feed or over/under water and you'll likely be happy with your...

    Why do people grow autos?

Very nice! However, at this point, does he get this with every one of those $1.50 autoflower seeds? Consistently? I could, if I wanted to, with my photoperiods, and each of the free clones I cut will produce that just with a little longer veg cycle than I normally like to run . . . I typically...
