You are absolutely right it turned out to be Bud rot! I've never had it but these were on my outside ladies! I'm still a little new and I have never heard of it but I definitely have now and it took over ruined every bit of it! Very awful it ate the bud from the stem out.

This is the putting soil I've been using.

I started out using Miracle-Gro but I only use quarter strength on everything, and I just recently started using distilled water. My other ladies outside never done this and I used the same potting soil and the same fertilizer. I do use distilled vinegar to lower my pH.

I thought that too in the beginning oh, because they all have done the same thing so it's a reoccurring problem. I would like to know how to take care of it and any and all suggestions. And what causes it, is it just lack of?
