Unless you have a lot of ambient light and don't close up your tent it won't hurt a thing. T.V. light is too weak. After all if you grow outside there is always light and never void of light...ex...the moon, street lights, etc. If you are really worried just turn your tent where the intake is...

Gnats don't hurt your plants. They just reproduce in the top 2 inches of soil. So if you use a smart pot you only have to keep them off the top. You can use the Damascus earth, sand, or neem oil on the top to get rid of them. Don't keep your soil wet. Dry soil and sand cuts them up.
