    Introducing Scynce LED Grow Lights

considering the majority here are private and not commercial growers this light is really out of our league. If someone can come up with a cost effective LED, without features that mean nothing to plants, then yes, we are going to be jaded. We grow and smoke for the final result, not to sell.

    Introducing Scynce LED Grow Lights

I think a lot of these companies assume us pot heads are gullible and so stoned we jump at anything shiny and new. Nope we are frugal and smart, which is why we grow our own. Don't advertise a product and expect us to take you at your word and slick advertising..Show us.

    Introducing Scynce LED Grow Lights

I want to see an actual grow with these lights. Not theories or "claims" about spectrum, output, turning lead into gold. I am a grower of many different plants indoor and out for over 40 years. I have read much bs from many "experts" who have ended up burning consumers financially, me being one...

    Munch's perpetual grow

Yes spider mites are bad to have, but fungus gnats do not harm your plant. Don't fertilize every watering, you will burn your roots. Your bagged soil has a healthy mix of nutes and too much is not a good thing. Just hang a couple of fly strips and if you can water from the bottom. The gnats only...

    Munch's perpetual grow

Looking good. Love your cage, great job. A good rule of thumb is K.I.S.S , less is best with fertilizer especially when your soil is bag soil. Fungus gnats are only a nuisance, the won't harm your plants. Looking forward to the rest of your story.

You can go out to a farmer's field that treats with chemical fertilizers and find many earth worms. Also mice, moles, groundhogs etc... so the whole earth worm stance is silly. You can kill anything if you drown it in organic or chemical based anything. After all everything alive needs water to...

Still doesn't answer the question. Do you make your own "organic" soil? Do you use only "certified" organic bag soil? Are your nutrients " organic"?

well said. Too many times it's about ego and who has the most expensive toys. I like the k.i.s.s. method. Keep it simple stupid. As for humans the high from organic or non-organic is the same. The brain chemistry can't tell the difference but responds to either the levels of cbd or thc according...

Do you guys think this matters?

Unless you have a lot of ambient light and don't close up your tent it won't hurt a thing. T.V. light is too weak. After all if you grow outside there is always light and never void of light...ex...the moon, street lights, etc. If you are really worried just turn your tent where the intake is...

How to get rid of nats?

Gnats don't hurt your plants. They just reproduce in the top 2 inches of soil. So if you use a smart pot you only have to keep them off the top. You can use the Damascus earth, sand, or neem oil on the top to get rid of them. Don't keep your soil wet. Dry soil and sand cuts them up.

    Plants dying in flower

Could be just bad genetics in that seed. Not all seeds grow or even sprout the same. All of the plant kingdom has that problem.

    Plants dying in flower

Fox farms is excellent soil...but since it already has everything you need in it you can't fertilize like you would with plain top soil. Root rot happens from over watering or the roots are burnt. Salts can build up in the soil with too much fertilizer. When leaves turn yellow and drop that is...
