The camera barely does it justice. It's very rust color. But again a reiterate there is no signs of mold when I look under the microscope. The trichromes look good actually but the flower flesh is like reddish brown.

No signs of mold yet look at the color this bud came out. By strain it should be northern lights. Is it possible that nutrient burn late into flower can cause the flowers to just straight up die? As soon as I noticed the browning I harvested immediately. Could these buds have just gotten...

Flushing is a bad practice based on flawed science.

None of that was even close to a complete well thought out argument...Sounded like the ramblings of a madman.

Flushing is a bad practice based on flawed science.

The plant does have some healthy range control of nutrients coming into the plant from the roots. Unless a deadly amount of nutrients are given... Any salt build up at all kills cannibis plants almost instantly as they are not resistant to salt at

Flushing is a bad practice based on flawed science.

YS I agree a flush is not good. But I know why they do it. They are only getting a benefit of reduced chlorophyll in the final bud. This reduced the need for a cure. So flushing is just a half baked replacement for a proper cure. And the only improvement will be for those who plan on smoking it...

Organic Growing Outdoor What Is Flushing Do I Need Too? If I Only Use Water

I have seen that growers think they need to flush all the nutrients out of a plant before harvest until it turns yellow and dying. If you want to try this in an outside grow just cut what you harvest but put it like Problem is if you wait for that I think a serious starvation flush can reduce...

    Buds not retaining smell! Help!

Not true commercial stuff gets at least a 2 week cure. The trick is not the cure anyways but the drying process. Dont dry too fast or too slow. Slow will give a moldy smell and fast will not cure properly causing harsh stuff.

    Buds not retaining smell! Help!

It's funny I noticed the grower that says their stay smelly the whole time dont cut up their stuff before its dry. Its cutting it up wet that covers up the weed smell with the grass smell. Go ahead next time and cut up a fresh wet bud. It will smell good until you expose the grassy wet smell...

    Buds not retaining smell! Help!

If your bud is too dry while curing you are not getting the full effect from your 2 week cure. If it's too wet while curing that's even worse because it will rot.

Whats All The Hullaballoo On Internodes? Well Lets Talk About It

Does anyone else use two different light intensities to simulate natural day intensites/ save energy? I did it mostly to save 55% energy but honestly the plants look healthier and grow extremely fast in veg with good internode spacing of about 2 inches, not overtight or overstretched. 5/7/6/6...
